"Das Haus ist ok, mit einer schönen Sonnenterasse. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist rustikal. Schönes Badezimmer, separates WC. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung liegt 50m vom Meer entfernt. Ein kleiner Yachthafen ist um die Ecke. Sehr ruhige Lage am Ortsrand. anäm Ortsrand der Orts"

"Beau gite dans une habitation récente à l'exterieur de La Rochelle mais très bien desservie par un service de bus. Le bus passe toutes les heures et l'arrêt se trouve à 3 minutes du gite ou un P+r à 20 minutes pas de souci de parking lors de votre visite de La Rochelle . Le propriétaire du gite est très accueillant et fait en sorte que votre séjour se passe agréablement . Magasin de proximités dans l'Houmeau et accès à la plage a pied ."

"The property is located in a quiet residential street near to some local shops and about a mile on foot to the Vieux Port - a lovely tree lined stroll. The house is small but perfect for two people. We only used the ground floor - bedroom, shower, wc, kitchen and a nice sunny sitting room leading out into a small garden. NB Access to the basement accommodation is via very steep stairs. Only practical for the young and nimble! The house is a good base from which to explore the wonderful port town...

"We had a fantastic time staying at this gite, with three generations of our family. The house is well equipped and very comfortable - and has lots of space for bikes to be stored. It is a short cycle ride to Saint-Martin, to the centre of Bois-Plage (where there is a market every day during the summer) and to the beach. We would recommend the house to other large family groups!"

Nous avons apprécié le jardin, les différentes terrasses qui permettent de profiter de l'ombre ou du soleil selon les envies, et en bonus la douche et les toilettes extérieures qui facilitent le retour de la plage. La maison est confortable, bien équipée et décorée avec goût. L'hôte a été très accueillant et arrangeant. Nous recommandons vivement cette location !"

"The  property was as described, well equipped with everything we needed and clean in all areas.  The owners had arranged for someone to greet us, she was very welcoming and made sure we were happy with the property and knew how to use the appliances. "It was a great location good cheap buses to town every 15 minutes . Lots of nice food right there . The room we had with a third bed for child - the room was way too small for this and hot and stuffy , ok as a double - not ok as a family room . No air con so very hot in heat wave but at least nice opening window .downstairs and pool area very nice …pay for a balcony I should have it would have been much better . "

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
