"From a very warm and helpful reception by M et Mme Planchon, this house lived up to all our expectations. Well-appointed kitchen, comfortable dining room/lounge communal living quarters, patio with bbq with a wonderful view of the rolling Normandy countryside, then upstairs to 4 large and comfortable bedrooms. So much room - this really is a lovely house."

"We really enjoyed our time @ this tiny home: it was cozy and very well decorated! You really feel like you're the only one in the world with all the space around you. The garden and surroundings are amazing and very spacious. The fact that the house has no electricity was a little bit of a surprise (found that out via another posting), but there is a battery available and we made it work! All in all: we enjoyed our time there a lot!"

"The house was very beautiful and well equipped (a baby chair would be the only possible improvement). The beach is near, but Caen as a larger city is also in reach. The host was very friendly and extremely helpful for finding activities and places to visit in the area (speaks English as well as French!). Definitly a place where we would like to stay again, if we were to return to the region near Caen!"

"The cottage is situated in a lovely location with countryside views and is in easy reach of the village either by car or as we did by walking. Charlotte is so nice and welcoming (as were the family), that we felt at home staying here. Everything is provided for your needs so only have to buy food. "The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."
