House is always clean, has everything you need. Quick Tip: Millers Meat Market in Lowville is a short drive. The food truck out in front has smoked ribs, brisket, and some other items ready for take out (open at select times so give a call before going),…you won’t be sorry paying the place a visit."

"Nice place, had a good time, one drawback is it is right on rt 28 so there is the traffic noise at night when having a fire. We were told to put the linens and towels in separate bags after our stay but there were no big bags, only the small kitchen garbage ones. Also no outside garbage unit so we had to keep the tied up garbage bags in the house and they started to smell. "It is an older property which has been updated with the necessaries, including kitchen and bath. We chose it for the location but mainly, because we were able to bring our two dogs. There were six of us and although the cottage was cozy, we were perhaps a bit cramped. That would not have been an issue but a rainy week forced us inside more than we would have liked. The location is beautiful - very close to First Lake and right off of Hollywood Road. The side road was excellent for dog walking...
