Cabin on Private Lake with over 800 acres of trails!!

Idyllic country cabin tucked away on private land in Crofton, Ky. The cabin is fully furnished and Is minutes away from Christian Way Farms and a short distance from Burdock Farms Wedding & Events venue. The property has a watershed lake with a water trampoline, great area for swimming, paddleboat, kayaks, and Jonboat with paddles and trolling motor for guests to enjoy. The lake is stocked so bring your fishing poles and enjoy fishing on the lake. There are over 1000 acres of land with trails so feel free to bring your horses (please just let us know if you intend to bring horses and trailer), mountain bikes, or hike to explore the property. Unwind on your getaway with a picturesque view to relax and enjoy nature with all the comforts of home!

Details: main cabin: one queen bed, two twin beds, bunk bed (twin xl over queen), couch, and air mattress. Crib, pack and play, and high chair available upon request. Fully stocked kitchen (just bring your favorite food to fix) and large dining table. Three TVs with local channels, two smart TVs with available Netflix, lots of dvds, air hockey table, shuffleboard table, and a cabinet stocked with family games to choose from. There is a phone on site to use if needed. There is also available WiFi via a hotspot from the phone guests are welcome to use. Another small cabin with two queen beds and two full beds is available for an additional nightly fee.

**There is an extra charge of $75 per night for use of the small cabin plus an additional $25 cleaning fee (contains two queen beds and two full mattresses in loft areas). Please let us know upon booking if you would like to use the small cabin in addition to the main cabin (main cabin sleeps 8 comfortably). If so, we will update the charges for your stay and will give you necessary access information for use.**

We have three small kids and our family loves our time spent at the cabin. Our vision was to create a place for guests to come to relax, spend time with friends and family, and enjoy nature. We hope our guests love it as much as we do!

We are located in Crofton, Ky, which is a small town set in between Hopkinsville and Madisonville, Ky. It is approximately 20mins from Greenville, Ky.

*Both Hopkinsville and Madisonville have lots of locally owned boutiques and places to shop. Both cities have Walmart, Kroger, Aldi, and other grocery stores that are within a short driving distance. Greenville has a Rural King, Walmart, and Kroger. There is a Dollar General on North Greenville Rd that is only 10mins away from the cabin, so very easy access to run and pick up anything you may need. Burdoc Farms Out of Town Wedding
We rented the property for the guys in our wedding to have a laid back place to fish and hangout day if wedding. Our families really enjoyed the outdoor area an amenities. The bunk house made it comfortable for two families to stay with plenty of sleeping space

Secluded Getaway
This is a wonderful getaway from daily life! We spent a week here without seeing another person and had the lake and woods all to ourselves. This was our second stay here and it was even better than the first! A week of fishing, swimming, hiking and just relaxing on the deck were just what we wanted. We’ll be back here again! Josh and Taylor are fantastic hosts and we appreciated all they did to this property to make it a wonderful place to stay!

Great cabin and lake!
Definitely the best! Cabin is very private, clean, and roomy. Best part of this place is the lake. Fishing was great. Lots of huge bluegills. I would recommend to take plenty of hooks. Fish tend to swallow the hook often. Water is perfect for swimming and everyone enjoyed the trampoline. We didn’t use the kayaks much, but there are plenty of them and a couple boats as well. The golf cart was good for exploring and driving to and around the lake. Owners communication was awesome from start to finish. They even stopped by to check in and recommended a few spots we should check out. This was the perfect getaway and is a must rent!!

Ladies retreat
Super beautiful place with everything we needed!!! The lake was really clean and wonderful to swim in!! The oil smells got really strong in the evenings but we were able to enjoy being outside the one evening when it was breezy. Definitely would recommend this place!!

Great for the whole family
The cabin was spacious, on a secluded lot to itself, with a fun water feature. Do recommend! My family had enough room to prepare food, visit, and enjoy nature. There is so much seating! Great deck chairs all over, and tables even by the lake. We tried it all - the water trampoline takes effort to climb onto but it's worth it. My nieces paddled all over the lake in the kayaks. We went in circles on the paddle boat. Several family members took hikes around the area. Parking and the road to the cabin is gravel but manageable. The check in/out process was easy. All enjoyed!

Fourth Of July Stay!!
We stayed over the Fourth of July this year. We had 2 seven year old boys and 3 thirteen year old girls with 4 adults in our party. Everyone had a blast! The pond is so great and the golf cart provided endless exploring. We set up corn hole and a volleyball net and spent a lot of our time outside enjoying the property. We had a fun fireworks display for the kids and they all had fun hunting for little critters down by the pond during the day and with a flashlight at night. We will be back!

Amazing Property
The property was just amazing. My son stayed in the water as much as he could. My wife and I spent plenty of time in kayaks and on the paddle boat. The trails were a great getaway as well. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing Secluded Retreat
This cabin is a gem! The inside is comfortable and cozy. The outside is incredible! The lake and surrounding forest provides for peace and relaxation. I’m sure in the warmer months the lake would keep us entertained all day long with the boats, fishing rods and diving platform provided! Thank you for allowing us to spend our holiday in your lovely retreat!

The property has everything you could ever need! We spent every day out on the lake swimming, kayaking, relaxing and jumping on the water trampoline. The deck and fire pit area are also wonderful, and there’s lots of trails to explore - the best part is that the property is completely secluded! The cabin was clean and comfy with enough space for our big group, and the owners were very communicative and helpful as well. We will definitely return and book for a longer stay! Release The Stress
As soon as we drove up and took the curve we saw the pond. And almost instantly the stress started melting away. This is truly a place to unwind, disconnect and enjoy time with the family. They truly do have it all here.

Awesome place, good memories!
It’s hard to describe this place. Peaceful, secluded, relaxing and fun! We only were able to stay 2 days but could have kept busy for weeks. The lake is awesome for cruising around on the paddle boats and my son had a blast jumping on the trampoline. We spent the most time cruising around the property on the off road golf cart. So many cool things to see and explore. I had the pleasure of meeting josh and his brother who gave me some helpful tips on getting around the property. Everyone should stay here at least once; I know we will be back. Thanks Josh and Taylor! I hope we left it as we found it.

We had THE BEST time!! Taylor and Josh could not have been more hospitable. Everything we needed was available for us. You literally only need your food and drinks. My boys created memories that will last a lifetime and I really enjoyed kayaking or reading by the lake. My husband got his fill of fishing and exploring the beautiful secluded property as well. If your family is looking for a beautiful private property to hang out and enjoy nature, then this is for you! If you’re more of a homebody than you’re in luck too! The cabin is cozy and inviting; you’ll feel right at home. I definitely recommend this place.
