"Nice, clean cottage furnished to a high specification which is well of the beaten track. Family friendly with a large communal swimming pool and games room and outside play area. There is a PodPoint 7kw charging post which is charged at a very high price if you want to use it. Consequently, there were at least 4 EV/PHEVs parked on the parking lot but nobody used it."

"We enjoyed a super sunny weekend, maximising the chance to walk the dogs on the beach and relax at the property. It has everything you need for a home from Home stay, with a great equipped kitchen we had no need to leave at all."

"dirty utensils,cups,eating bowls, freezer leaking water and mildew growing inside. dirty sheet with dirt on and stains. both bed had springs coming through, one bed had a large dip in the middle, damp place, radiator controls had been taken off so it could not be adjusted. car parking was dangerous not wide enough to get in and out bust road, even though we asked hostes if the parking was wide enough for our car, they said it was. the stairs did not have a banister to go safely up and down...

"Lovely cottage perfectly situated close to Shaldon beach, shops, cafes, etc. Beautifully presented and well-equipped. "

"The house was lovely and clean but in need of a freshen up. With 6 adults there was not enough comfy chairs available - one armchair and a 3 seater sofa. Also if you have more than one car and they are both SUVs they will not fit on the drive due to a narrow entrance. However, saying that the location was ideal for walks around Babbacombe and St Mary Church."

"Really fantastic place and a great host, so quick to reply if we had a question. Well stocked kitchen etc.The village is beautiful. Plenty of cafes, pics, Beach, rock pooling, walks. Eat to get to Teignmouth across the estuary by ferry, car or on for via the bridge. Highly recommend! Note that the fireplace is not real, but the place is so small and the heating effective it's still very cozy."

"We've just returned from an amazing stay in Barn End Cottage. On arrival we were welcomed with some delicious home made scones and locally produced cider which got our trip off to the perfect start. The accomodation itself is gorgeous and has a very traditional cottage style, but comes with all modern amenities plus the added bonus of a gaming room which my daughter loved. The cottage literally has everything you need and more for a perfect holiday (one day we had fresh popcorn for breakfast...

"Just perfect. A beautiful cottage in a quiet location. Decorated to a high standard with pretty much everything you will need for a memorable stay. Beds were very comfortable with fluffy pillows and cosy duvet. Smart TV and strong WiFi reception. Not only would I recommend, but I've already rebooked! Dog friendly too! "
