"First off when arriving at the property there was no onsite parking as advertised, there was parking to the rear which you would think were for there but was told it was private and was not anything to do with the property and told there was small parking bays just up from the front of the property which were on a public road and were all full, to me this is not classed as onsite parking, onsite parking is parking designated for the property and owned by the property. "There's no doubt that The Boat Inn is a lovely, traditional pub in a super location, right on the banks of the Wye with good views of the river from the bedrooms above the pub. "A modern, very well furnished room/flat in a beautiful, quiet location. Immaculately presented and clean. Walkable to a very good local, friendly pub (The Chainbridge Inn) (0.9 mile) and even closer to a nearby restaurant. The hosts were welcoming and provided an easy contactless check in. Excellent."

"Lovely house in a nice location. A river at the back wirh a field of sheep to overlook. It is in a small and very quiet estate. We did not hear anyone. All we could hear was the river. The house is all you need for a stay, clean, well equipped, good communucation. Parking at the front. There were 5 of us , 2 adults and 3 children, 13, 10 & 7. We were more then comfortable with pleanty of space. Good cooking facilities and pleanty of storage space "

"We enjoyed our stay here in a very confirtable cottage tucked away in the countryside. The beds were particularly comfortable. The hosts communicated well and we really enjoyed tge free range eggs they left us from their chickens. Plenty of birds and very dark so great for stars if it is clear."

"I stayed here for two nights (Saturday and Sunday) while visiting Bike Park Wales, and I was really impressed with the value for money. Booking just a week in advance, I only paid £55 for a two-person room with breakfast included—an absolute bargain! The room was clean and comfortable, though I did struggle a bit with temperature control. The window didn’t close fully, and while the radiator had adjustable heat, it wasn’t entirely clear when it was actually on or off throughout the day. That said, it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Breakfast was great—not anything particularly special, but definitely more than just the bare minimum for a continental breakfast, which was a nice touch. The shower was powerful and clean, though the mounts were a bit loose and wobbly. The location is a little out of the way, so if you don’t have a car, it might not be the most convenient. However, for the price, cleanliness, and overall experience, I’d absolutely stay here again. Perfect for a budget-friendly stay near Bike Park Wales!"
