Nice house, ground floor, near the River Vézère, close to Eyzies and Bugue
7.4 out of 10, Good, (13)
"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

Delightfully restored farmhouse in the heart of the Dordogne
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (29)
"Beautiful property and ideal for a family or a group of friends. Very peaceful and the location is great for exploring the region. Pool is a nice edition and the outside eating areas are a good size. The hosts are fantastic and will help with any queries you have and give plenty of advice regarding things to see and do. We will be visiting again as plenty more for us to see and do! Thank you Craig and Caroline"

The property is cosy and comfortable but extremely well equipped - if so inclined you could return home to cook every meal (although the restaurants right nearby and in every town make it a hard choice). The Sunday market in Issegiac is the best - the worst thing about it is that you will always buy more than you...
