Remodeled Winter 2023

This superbly located 2-bedroom condo is at the base of the Peachtree Lift in Mt Crested Butte. Walk right out the front door and down a short flight of steps to start your skiing/snowboarding adventure. Come back to the condo for a lunch break and skip the expensive lunch on the mountain or watch the other members of your group ski while you sit on the wrap-around deck and enjoy the views.
The entire condo was completely refurnished in June 2021 with super comfortable leather furniture. The master bedroom has a king bed with large screen TV and en suite bathroom with a tub and shower combination. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a full bathroom with a tub and shower combination. The living room has a sofa with a queen sleeper sofa, a love seat and big chair. There is also a wood burning fireplace with plenty of wood to keep you cozy while gazing at the slopes. There is a sunny dining table with seating for 6 and the kitchen has all the basic equipment you should need.
There is a full-size stackable washer and dryer as well as Wi-Fi throughout the condo. This one level condo is accessible by two flights of stairs or the elevator located in the parking garage. Communal hot tub with grill and table are located just steps away from the front door.

The FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the town of Crested Butte and surrounding areas. Gateway Condos is within close walking distance of the main transit center. Summer schedule runs every 20 minutes; winter schedule runs every 15 minutes; shoulder seasons every 40 minutes.
Upon your arrival, you’ll find that we supply all linens, towels, and paper goods. This includes paper towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissues, trash bags, kitchen towels, an assortment of spices, dish sponge, dish soap, dish detergent and laundry detergent.
Each unit is allowed one parking spot in the garage. All vehicles must park in a marked parking space. For additional parking, there is street parking in the Town of Crested Butte.

Maybe skiing isn't your thing or you want to pamper yourself a bit. Well, mere steps from the condo is the Elevation Spa, which features a day pass for $25 or $50 for the week and includes a hot tub, indoor pool, fitness center, and 3 tranquility rooms

Amazing location on the mountain
The Gateway is our favorite property at Mt Crested Butte. The location is the best. Unite 103 was perfect for us- every detail we needed was provided. It was extremely comfortable- with top quality beds and linens and a well stocked kitchen. We made a fire every night - and enjoyed the comfortable couches to relax after a full day of skiing. The view from the wrap-a-round balcony is perfect to watch skiers come down at the end of the day, and the hot tub is just steps away from the unit. We will definitely be staying here again!!

This is the coziest condo right on the slopes...Includes a hot tub 10 steps from the front door and a wrap-around balcony in the back that faces the whole mountain. I don't ever stay anywhere else and this place seems like a second home for us...Oh yeah, did I mention that James and Wendy, who manage this property, are the best on the mountain! They are quick to respond if a problem ever arises, which is seldom. Thanks for having us !!

Ski Trip 2024
This is a wonderful property and very convenient to the slopes. My friends and I enjoyed our stay as much or more than any previous ski trip over the past 15 years. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great “on-slope” experience ! This mountain has great terrain and the town has lots of Victorian charm.

Great skiing
Unit was great, next to begining lift made it super easy to walk out ski to that lift then ski over to the main lifts. Anyone that didn’t ski could enjoy watching the kiddo’s learning to ski and board.

Online booking and check in process was flawless. Condo has great view, 15 steps to the slopes and less than 10 to the hot tub. We walked the slopes to the transit center for the buses to downtown which took about 10 mins. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. Convient ski locker about 5 steps from the slope and wonderful foyer in the condo. Had hooks, cubbie holes and places for all our ski clothes. Washer and dryer in foyer that worked great. We had a few minor maintenance issues that were addressed immediately. Building is older but condo is nicely updated. Real wood fireplace with plenty of firewood on deck. We were able to watch the groomers come and go. Only con's. The old floors are squeaky and we could hear neighbors above us but nothing that would keep us from staying again.

Awesome condo ! Completely remodeled. Up to date, all new bathrooms and kitchen appliances. Comfortable beds, great views, and a warm cozy garage. Can't write a review without mentioning property managers Wendy & James, who are the "BEST" on the mountain. I wouldn't rent from anyone else. Thanks for making our vacation so wonderful !

Beautiful Ski-in Ski-out Condo!
My husband and our 2 teens stayed here for 6 days in early January. The condo was recently remodeled and everything is comfortable and gorgeous! The views and convenience are exceptional - I could step out on the balcony and see my family come down one of the closest slopes! You are steps from one of the lifts and even the unit’s ski locker is very convenient to the slope entry point. We came back to the condo for lunch everyday. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic place! Just bring earplugs if light sleeper!
Great location, layout, views, proximity to bus/town/hikes. I am a light sleeper so to the others out there, just bring a pair of ear plugs and you will be all set! The first few nights we had a very loud family above us and couldn’t sleep til they went to bed (11:30!) and had to wake when they woke (6:15!) - even with white noise on - but the last few nights we had a quieter party above and it was a lovely experience. This is such a 5 star place, don’t pass it up, just be sure to bring those ear plugs if you are a light sleeper like me! James and Wendy were also great, super responsive, locally located. I’d certainly stay again. We actually requested an extra night because we were having such a nice time :)

Great ski condo!
The condo was very clean and comfortable, and it was a great location right next to the ski lift! We had plenty of space for our family of 5. The owners were very responsive and had excellent communication when we had questions. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent slopeside condo at Mt. Crested Butte
The condo is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It is in a wonderfully convenient location about 50 yards from the base of the Peachtree lift, and only a short walk from the central ski area base. Communication with owner Wendy was timely, clear and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful views of mountains and lifts from condo. Very easy access to lift-right outside the door. Hot tub and grill on same level as condo and right outside. Beds comfortable. Condo a little dated due to age but has everything you need for a wonderful holiday!

Wonderful location and the view from inside is fantastic!
Our family of 4 (two adults and two children ages 10 and 13) has a wonderful 5 night stay while on a family ski trip. Communication regarding property was exceptional and check in was effortless. The condo was clean, well appointed, and the views from the large windows were gorgeous all day long. The furniture was comfortable and there were plenty of places to lounge. We also appreciated the large dining room table so that we could enjoy meals together. The hot tub was steps away from the front door as was the ski locker which made things very easy in the mornings before hitting the slopes. The ski in-ski out location was fantastic! We would certainly rent this property again in the winter but can imagine how great it would be in the summer as well.

Communication with the owner was very good, let us check in early and got back to me very quickly with any issues. Right next to the slope, ski in ski out, the neighbors above us were a little loud, the owner contacted the building manager which helped. Very nice condo had everything you need. heated garage was a plus also.

What an amazing, AMAZING stay we had! The condo is absolutely beautiful with million dollar views from each window. The place is spacious but has that mountain cozy feel and it's oh so comfy! Well stocked and super clean with plenty of towels and extra linens, blankets and pillows. A true ski out and ski in, right up to the steps of the building! It just doesn't get any better than that! Building parking garage is secure and warm, with elevator access to the condos. James & Wendy are super responsive and caring and made sure that we had everything that we needed throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out could not have been made any easier on us. This condo truly felt like a home away from home for us, we absolutely loved, loved, loved everything about our stay and we felt 100% comfortable and everything was hassle-free. The little town of Crested Butte is just a short drive down the mountain, and we drove down there daily in order to get the tastiest coffee ever or grab a bite and admire the lovely town set in the most beautiful place on earth. Highly recommend this gem!

Great Location!!
We absolutely loved this condo!! Awesome location. Your only a few steps down to the hot tub/sauna and ski locker where you ski out!! The condo was well furnished, super comfortable beds, nice linens, plenty of towels. Kitchen was well stocked (even had a spice rack). Living room was spacious with a huge kitchen table for us to eat. Lots of natural light and beautiful wrap around views of the ski slope and mountains. We had only one question and James & Wendy quickly got back with us. Very nice people!! We will definitely book this place again!!

Great location!
We had a blast. Best part was the ski in ski out location of the condo. My 3 adult kids, who are avid skiers, stayed with me here for a long weekend trip together. The condo had everything we needed and the real fireplace every night was so relaxing to sit around in the living room. The hot tub is steps from the condo and we enjoyed sitting in it each evening after skiing all day. If location to lifts is what you’re looking for, this place is awesome. And the hosts are super responsive and helpful with anything you need. Would totally stay here again!

Great location on the mountain. Close to everything. Great condo! Furnished with every thing we needed. Comfortable beds. This is our 2nd time to stay at this condo. Managers Wendy and James are the best. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates. Wendy stepped in and took care of all the changes to my relief. So easy to work with. Very nice condo, as advertised
The condo was clean and comfortable, and was as shown in the listing. Furniture and beds were comfortable, condo was well supplied. We had a couple of questions and items needed and those calls were handled promptly. Location was very good. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants, a small (very small!) convenience store, and to the base of the ski hill activities, including the scenic chair lift and the mountain bike lift. There is a free shuttle bus into Crested Butte that runs throughout the day and evening. We were there early in the summer season and that, along with the labor shortage, caused many restaurants in the area to have different hours or closures, so call ahead before going anywhere.
