The Space:
The Grand Lodge Overview
3-star hotel comprised of individually owned condos.
Located in Crested Butte—a breathtaking destination.
Pros
Prime Location: Less than an 8-minute walk to the base of the ski resort, passing by a coffee shop and restaurants.
Great Amenities:
Indoor/outdoor pool and large hot tub—clean and well-maintained.
Large steam room for post-ski relaxation.
Free Parking: Each room comes with one parking pass for outdoor parking.
Convenient Mini Kitchens: Every room is equipped with a mini kitchen, perfect for snacks.
Cons
Building Management: Managed by a separate company that controls amenities; they may close amenities without notice.
Older Building: Rooms show some wear but are kept very clean.
No Air Conditioning: Rooms have heat but no air conditioning.
Overall: The Grand Lodge is ideal if you prioritize location and convenience, but it may not meet 5-star expectations.

Guest Access:
Please Note: The Steam Room is currently under renovation. We will remove this notice when the work is completed and the Steam Room is back in action. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Guests have access to the condo and Grand Lodge amenities. The Grand Lodge has a Pool, Hot Tub, Gym, Steam room, free parking, (guests are given one parking pass per room ) EV charging and is in the perfect location to Mt. Crested Butte. (please note if any of the amenities are not operational during your stay, we will not offer a refund as we don't have control over the amenities).
The Neighborhood:
Elk Avenue is a great place to shop, dine, visit historic buildings and art galleries.
Crested Butte offers outdoor activities in all seasons! It is a great place to enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and snowshoeing.
The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is a 45-minute drive from the Grand Lodge Crested Butte Colorado. Landmarks and attractions that are easily accessible from The Grand Lodge Crested Butte include the Donita’s Cantina. The Grand Lodge at Crested Butte is just a 14-minute walk from the Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
Getting Around:
Most Guests bring their car to get around (we have a free parking lot with EV charging), but there are shuttles to get around if you'd prefer!

This property does not have air conditioning.
Please note: we do not do daily linen service like a traditional hotel (this is Airbnb style). However, if you'd like a turnover to be done during your stay, please give us a 24 notice so we can coordinate with the cleaner. There is an extra cost for this, which is $50.
-Unfortunately, the HOA does not allow pets on the 3rd floor. You may see pets, however if an owner is staying in their unit, then they are allowed to have a pet (this is the buildings policy and has nothing to do with Traverse Hospitality).
