The Space:
The open floor plan and windows on the first floor create a warm and inviting living space with tons of natural light and exceptional views. This remodeled 4BR, 4BA condo located in the Dogwood building in the Paradise Condos, has a fabulous kitchen equipped with new appliances, large stone countertops, new cabinets and a farm style sink. The pots, pans and dishes are all new and the kitchen is fully stocked for all cooking and baking needs. The Paradise condos are considered ski in/out, based on snowfall. Simply exit the bldg and walk or ski behind the San Moritz condos and then hit the slopes above West Wall Lodge. Slope access and conditions are dependent on snow fall. Please note: the town of Mt CB has a ballot measure to be voted on in November 2024 that could raise taxes 2%. If this passes, all reservations occurring in 2025 will be assessed the additional 2% even if it has already been booked.
The dining room has seating for 8 at the table and two more at the kitchen island. The cozy living room has a gas fireplace for added warmth and ambiance as well as a sliding glass door which leads out to a west facing deck that is perfect for watching the sun set over the mountains. The smart TV has a satellite subscription. New flooring, lighting and furniture make this space so inviting.
There are two bedrooms on this floor, one with a king sized bed and the other with two twins. These both have full sized, newly remodeled bathrooms separate from the bedrooms. The room with the king has a sliding door which leads to the west facing deck. There is also a washer/dryer on this floor.
Upstairs has a loft with an open sitting area with a large desk for work or puzzle space as well as a full sized pull out couch. There are two bedrooms upstairs one with a king sized bed and the other with two twin beds. These both have their own full baths, one with a tub.
Hunter Douglas blinds throughout the condo provide privacy and room darkening in the bedrooms. There is a communal bike storage area in the basement on the ground floor where you can hang and secure your bike with your own lock. Entry to the condo is through an internal hallway which leads to two flights of stairs to an internal front door. This access is shared. We are positive this lovely condo with be pleasing for your vacation, whatever season you choose to visit.
You do have to climb two sets of stairs to access the condo. No elevator at this property.
You can enjoy the community hot tub just below your building. The hot tub is open seasonally. It is normally open the entire ski season. It closes after the ski season ends til about the 3rd week of June and will remain open through the summer and into September. If you are coming in our Fall shoulder season (Sept-Nov) you might ask if it will be open if its important to you. A communal grill is available in the hot tub area. If the hot tub is open, the grill is available on a first come first served basis.
This complex cannot allow trailers as parking is tight. With that said, there are only 2 designated parking spaces available-one outside the unit and the other one in the overflow parking lot located below the building. These both have signs designating parking for the unit. Parking passes are available in the condo.
This condo is on the bus route in the winter, which will take you to the base area. The bus picks up every hour at the base of the parking lot. You can transfer at the Mt. Crested Butte transit center to a free bus that will take you down into the town of Crested Butte.
Renters 25 years and older are welcome. Renters less than 25 years of age are welcome with their parent or guardian.
1 dog is allowed. The HOA is strict with a one dog limit.
4 or all wheel drive is suggested in the winter to access the parking lot.

Parking:
Parking spaces are very limited and it is important that all guests and owners observe the parking rules and regulations.
All vehicles must have a parking tag which will be issued to you upon check in. A parking tag must be hung on the rear view mirror of each vehicle. Owners have been provided a permanent parking tag for each of their vehicles kept on the property.
All vehicles of guests or owners of Aspen and Cottonwood buildings Must park in their assigned garages or in the lower lot which adjoins the Aspen building. For this unit you must park in both assigned spaces for this condo. One is to the upper left of the Cottonwood building and the other is to the right of the Aspen building.
Observe all signs for restricted and /or prohibited parking areas.
Any vehicle parked on site without a “parking tag” hanging on the rear view mirror or parked in a restricted or prohibited area will be towed. If your vehicle is towed, you will be responsible for all towing charges. The phone number of the towing contractor is 349-7333.
Guest Access:
Check in instructions will be sent to you 2 days prior to arrival at 4 pm MST.
The Neighborhood:
The Paradise condos are located on Hunter Hill Rd. The shuttle stops one an hour at the end of the driveway and can take you to the base area. 4WD or AWD is recommended for getting to your condo. Only 2 cars per condo are allowed. To access the lifts you can walk/ski behind the San Moritz condos that are just North of Paradise and than hit the slopes just above the Westwall Lift.
Getting Around:
It will be easiest if you have a car to get around. You are about 4.5 miles to the Town of Crested Butte and about 3/4 of a mile to the base area of the mountain.
