Summary:
Charming 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home on the river in Skyland. Hot tub.

The Space:
Fish from your back door!  This is a lovely riverfront home in the Alpine Court region of Skyland with a private hot tub overlooking the river. The home is just a few short minutes to the town of Crested Butte by car or a few minutes by bike or nordic ski. The recreation path to town is just about a mile away.

The home is decorated in a lovely warm fashion and has 3 bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed with an ensuite bathroom and is located on the main level of the home. Also on the main level is the well stocked kitchen that is in an open format so that the cook can enjoy a lively conversation with guests in the dining and living room areas.

The upstairs has 2 additional bedrooms, one with a queen and a twin and the other with a queen bed. These 2 bedrooms share a full bath and there is a loft type space with a separate twin daybed. Televisions can be found in the living room, master bedroom and the queen bedroom upstairs.

There is also a lovely deck off of the living/dining areas with a hot tub to enjoy the steady flow of the Slate River. To complete the main floor, there is a laundry room, mudroom and a powder bath.

The home has a garage with storage for gear. One parking space is available for the guest in the garage.  Any additional cars MUST be parked in the driveway as there is no on street parking.  The driveway can accomodate 2 cars.

The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, excepting children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian. Unfortunately, this property does not allow pets of any kind. 

There are no trailers or RV's allowed at this property due to town laws and/or HOA covenants. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Please note that our company does have a separate rental policy that will be emailed to you immediately after booking and this will need to be signed by you.  If you wish to see it prior to booking, just send us an email.

Western Colorado University Graduation
This was the perfect place for us. We knew Gunnison would be busy with all the people coming in for graduation so we decided to stay in Crested Butte. We were minutes away from all of the shops and yet far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The views from the deck were amazing. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time in Creasted Butte over New Years and couldn't have found a better place to stay. The house was clean and tidy and we could not find a way to leave it better than we found it. When we come back to Creasted Butte, we'll check avilability heree first!

Quiet neighborhood.. good amenities!
My family of 5 enjoyed this home outside Crested Butte. Quick (5min) drive to town of CB & ski resort! Hot tub was fabulous after the slopes! Only downside.. we saw quite a few spiders 🕷 & multiple spider webs throughout home.. also.. beds were well worn.. Thanks for letting us use your beautiful home!

Relaxing and cozy stay
We really enjoyed our stay at your condo and would definitely want to stay there again in the future! There was plenty of space and a patio as well. However, the hot tub could have been a little warmer and it would have been useful to have some shampoo/conditioner available for guests. Thank you very much for going out of your way to make last minute changes to help us find the perfect place that accommodated all of our needs.

Great Location
The location is beautiful! The river behind the house is a definite highlight. The layout of the home is great. Hot tub is nice after a hike or rafting. Unfortunately it didn't work part of our stay, but the management company was very prompt in getting someone out to look at it, and compensated for the inability of use. Heated floors would be very nice in the winter. It is time for some furniture to be replaced. The master bed is very uncomfortable with a large body indentions and a kings ridge. I do wish there was some more outdoor furniture to enjoy the river view.

Beautiful comfortable home, perfect for us!
This home was amazing, very comfortable and the views were outstanding. Looked recently remodeled and very well cared for. The main floor has the kitchen, living, dining & master bedroom/bathroom, as well as laundry room and 1/4 bath. The upstairs has a full bath as well as a sitting area and 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and one with 2 twins. The kitchen was very fun to cook in and well stocked. The beds and linens looked brand new and really were very comfy. The house is located in Skyland, which is less than 5 minutes outside Crestted Butte, and less than 10 minutes from the ski resort. Loved the area, a very quiet getaway, loved being there versus the hustle and bustle of town or the ski resort. Would highly recommend this home for anyone who wants to enjoy all Crested Butte has to offer with a relaxing home to return to. The property manager was very wonderful to work with, Shay checked in with us before we got there and made sure everything was great for us right when we walked in the door. We enjoyed skiing, sledding and ice skating in Crested Butte while there, and loved the pizza and wings at Mikey's across from the skating rink. There is one small grocery store and countless places to eat (relied on Urban Spoon for reviews), wish we would have had more time to enjoy it all! I absolutely loved this property, our family will definitely be going back!

We Enjoyed Our Stay
This property overall was beautiful! The neighborhood and location within the neighborhood had beautiful views. Being surrounded by the mountains in a valley was breathtaking. The home overall was very good. The issues were minor that we encountered, but feel should be addressed for future renters. There were cobwebs in the master bathroom and bedroom hanging from the ceilings in both areas, as well as the master bedroom fan being layered with dust (we could see the dust hanging off the fan blades as we laid in bed). Also, the chairs in the living area should be replaced. They were really beat up. The kitchen cushions for the dinette set also should be replaced. They were really stained and did not look clean. Also, the hot tub worked, but it had issues staying hot. The control panel for the hot tub made one know it was an old model. Lastly, the bench in the entrance way should be secured down better. It was extremely loose making for it to be dangerous when using it to put on and take off your ski boots. Despite these minor issues, our family still made great memories and our stay was enjoyable.

A great property for a family trip summer or winter
From the minute we drove into the Skyland community I knew this property was a good choice for our accommodations. It's a peaceful area with beautiful mountains surrounding it. Being only 5 minutes from town and 10 to the ski mountain you are close to everything but you have the added benefit of the open areas and the peace and quiet. My three boys ages 13-16 had a ball digging tunnels in the snow, running outside,and breaking ice in the stream directly behind the house. (And all that was each day after many hours of skiing!) The house itself was amazing. The two car garage was great. Plenty of room to unload our ski stuff. The mud room was a perfect staging area. The kitchen was stocked very well with everything you could need (even spices). I cooked in a lot and I was as comfortable as I would be in my own home. There are several crock pots available. The gas fireplace looks great and really keeps the family room comfortable (note:the on/off switch is in the back). The direct TV satellite was perfect for us and we were able to DVR shows and games we wanted to watch. We enjoyed being able to grill on the gas grill that you wheel out of the garage. Our family of five fit very well and having the laundry room was a huge help. A couple of small things to note. Bring your own hairdryer, if you will need to grate cheese bring a cheese grater and also bring dishwashing tablets or soap. There was laundry detergent though. Because this property was obviously well taken care of and clean I would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone. I can't wait to return to this property with my family!

Perfect Views and Location
This house was just what I was hoping for when booking it. Beautiful views of the river and mountains from the back deck. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Close to The Club at Crested Butte. Also a very short drive to downtown Crested Butte. The host was very responsive and quickly answered any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again.

Family holiday ski trip
Great house for skiing trip with beautiful views, hot tub, and plenty of room for kids upstairs. Radiant heat in floors kept temperature warm even with below zero temps outside. Plenty of kitchenware for cooking. Only 2 minor issues - dryer took a long time to dry wet ski clothes and garage parking spot was a bit tight for SUV due to owner's items.
