The Space:
Gorgeous modern influenced renovation, top floor corner unit in the Black Bear Lodge! With vaulted ceilings and gorgeous views of the mountains, you have found a beautiful space to call home for a few short days or a few weeks. Access to the Westwall lift and use of a ski locker make skiing a breeze from this location.
Located on the 2nd floor of the lodge, this unit has all the amenities you could need. This condo lives much bigger then its square footage. All the living space and 2 bedrooms are on the main floor with a lovely open floor plan. The living/dining/kitchen allow for any entertainer to be part of it all while they prepare dinner or serve their hungry crew of outdoor enthusiasts.
The galley kitchen with knotty alder cabinets and granite countertops is equipped with everything you might need. You can seat 6 comfortably at the dining room table with 3 additional seats at the bar top. There is a small deck with a table and chairs off the bar area. Also on this floor are the 2 guest bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms both with natural stone throughout. One has a queen bed and the 2nd has a bunk bed with a twin over a full bed. Both bedrooms have televisions.
On the top floor you'll find a private primary suite with a king sized bed and large bathroom and walk in closet. The bathroom has both a shower and a separate jetted bathtub and 2 sinks. The primary bedroom also has a television and a small private deck.
There are very few properties on the mountain with heated, underground parking and Black Bear Lodge is one of them! No more scraping your windshield or having to warm up your car. 1 designated parking space is available in the garage. Another unassigned space is first come first served anywhere that is an unassigned space on the premises. The garage entrance/clearance is 94 inches. An elevator takes you and your luggage from the garage directly to the second floor. If you don't feel like driving your car, the shuttle bus stop is right on the corner of the street (about 25 yards). This makes traveling to and from town or the base area super easy.
Additional features of the lodge: hot tub, large lodge room with TV for gatherings, ski locker storage and an outdoor gas grill.
No trailers or RV's are allowed at this property due to town regulations and/or HOA covenants.
The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, excepting children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian. Unfortunately, this property does not allow pets of any kind.

Parking:
Parking for sidewalks, valley pan, driveways, and entrances must not be obstructed or encumbered or used any purpose other than ingress and egress to and from the Lodge. Parking on the driveway is expressly prohibited at all times.
Garage passenger Deeded Parking Spaces: Parking within garage deeded parking spaces is limited to vehicles, licensed motorcycles, and street legal motorbikes. No motor vehicle shall remain parked on the property unless it is in good working condition and used for actual transportation. No spaces may be used for personal property storage, vehicle repair, construction or any other purpose. Vehicle repairs, other than emergency repairs to remove a vehicle from the premises, are prohibited.
Garage Guest Parking Spaces: Parking within garage guest parking spaces is limited to passenger vehicles, licensed motorcycles, and street-legal motorbikes. No vehicle may be parked in garage guest parking spaces for more than two weeks continuously without the prior written permission of the Board of Directors. No spaces may be used for personal property, vehicle storage, vehicle repair, construction or any other purpose. Vehicle repairs, other than emergency repairs to remove a vehicle from the premises are prohibited.
Porte-Cochere Parking Spaces and Outdoor Parking Spaces: Parking within porte-cochere parking spaces and outdoor parking spaces is limited to passenger vehicles, licensed motorcycles, and street-legal motorbikes. These guest parking spaces are for temporary-parking only. No continuous parking is permitted at any time.
Parking Permits: All vehicles parked within parking spaces on the Black Bear Lodge property must display a valid Black Bear Lodge parking permit. parking permits are supplied by the Managing Agent and are available at the owner’s request.
Illegally parked vehicles, recreational vehicles, trailers, derelict vehicles, or stored personal property in any parking space will be removed or towed at the owner's expense with or without notice.

Check in instructions are emailed 2 days prior to your arrival at 4 pm MST.
The Neighborhood:
The Black Bear Lodge is a luxury condominium complex located across the road from The Westwall Lodge and lift. It has a gathering space on the main level where there is a tv, fireplace and comfortable couches. The locker room is off this room. The complex offers its own parking garage with elevator access to all levels.
Getting Around:
It is likely easiest if you do rent a car to get around but there is a shuttle that will stop just a 1/4 block from the front door and take you to the base area. You can also walk across the street, through the Westwall patio (there is an easement) and to the slopes right at the Westwall Lift.
