"We booked our stay with intentions of relaxing and enjoying ourselves. The morning sun rising over the hills behind the river were wonderful. We also woke to some fresh snow. It was nice to be able to purchase wood at the property. 5 stars we will be back."

"Whitney cottage is so charming and cozy! We loved the house and our stay was great. Mark the host was very responsive and helpful. I particularly loved the design and decor, all remaining true to the original style. Really enjoyed all the little touches, and we had everything we needed! "We really enjoyed the stay on a family wedding weekend. It gave us a place to gather and talk and be together. The stone fireplace was very cozy. It along with the furnishings gave a true lodge / cabin feel. The community rule requiring us to keep to 3 cars was restrictive at times and it would be nice if that could be revisited to match the number of bedrooms. The closeness to Skytop was key for us and access to resort activities was fun. "

"House was very clean and both the fireplace and hot tub were operational. The location is very quiet but still close to attractions like J Thorpe (25 min). Not a lot of hot water but not a problem for 2 people. Also, the vacuum was broken but that is an easy fix. Communication through VRBO didn’t work but the host resolved the issues directly.The deck is very nice but was in need of cleaning. . I swept up a build up of leaves. My dog loved it, bring 2 gates to close off if you want to contain...

"The house was great for the weekend. Plenty of room with a nice kitchen and great couches for lounging and watching some TV. Location was awesome, Quiet yet a few minutes from everything you would want. Shopping, restaurants, convenience stores, etc. would definitely stay again. P.S. Megan was awesome to communicate with. "
