This home was very beautiful. Lots of spaces to cozy up with a good book. View of ocean from living room and a super short walk to beach. This place was well maintained and decorated.

We loved this property. The owners were very responsive to questions and concerns. We loved the short walk to the beach. The kids loved the tide pools, especially at low tide.

This house was so great in every way. It is so clean and beautiful and we all enjoyed our time there. There were so many thoughtful details and touches that we really appreciated. Its location is great as well. Just minutes from the Redwood forests and so close to the water. Loved every minute that we spent there!

We had an amazing stay! We loved that the beach is just a block away. The house was fabulous! So clean and welcoming. We felt very spoiled and well taken care of. The amenities were perfect. We are hoping to come again soon! We were all very sad to leave! We will have to stay longer next time! Thank you for such a great time!

Beautifully renovated beach house! 1 minute walk to beach access, great sheep hunting and tide pools! Kids loved it. Walked to the lighthouse which was fantastic. Our day trips were to the redwood parks which were easy drives from this cozy cottage. Thanks for sharing your space!

Beach vibes
We were excited to see this beautiful beach home with its lovely touches in each room. Our family enjoyed the picturesque window view of ocean in front sitting room. It was a pleasant short walk to beach in search of unique and colorful rocks on the pebbled beach. We also enjoyed seeing and exploring the beautiful Redwoods which were not far from Crescent City. We highly recommend this beautiful home to all who want to visit the area.

Great House!
Loved this house!! Probably the cleanest and most well stocked property I have ever rented. Impressed by all of the amenities provided. Perfect location as well. Very short walk to the ocean. My only suggestion to the owners would be to add handicap bars in the showers. Otherwise a perfect place for a family to enjoy their stay in Crescent City.

The most excellent
It is obvious that the property owner/manager put much thought into preparing this home to be the most ideal and comfortable and fun stay possible for groups and families. Everyone in our group enjoyed the well-decorated space to the utmost, and the fire pit with readily available dry firewood nearby in the garage was the crowning glory. Communication with the property manager was swift and excellent. Would stay again and again. Thankful to have been so well taken care of!

Awesome House in Crescent City
We were all totally impressed with this property. The house is awesome and the hosts had thought of just about everything we could need, even things we didn't even know we would like or need. All the appointments were top notch, no cheap stuff here. I think we all wanted to stay longer. Location is nice and in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nicely decorated. Great family areas for gathering and dining. could not have been happier with the stay. This recently renovated home was laid out perfectly to accommodate my wife and I and our daughter and her family (of 6). The master suite is separated from the rest of the house. The house has all of the amenities (and more) than you could hope to have in a VRBO rental. The kitchen accessories are amazing (including and insta-pot) for those that like to use the kitchen. The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked with clenaing products (including for the washer/dryer and diswasher). The beds and very comfortable and the bedding top-notch. Likewise the towels and bathrobes are very high quality. The furnishings are attractive. It's nice to have a garage to park the car in and we loved the foosball and Ping-Pong tables. We also appreciated having firewood for the fire pit (or beach) and beach chairs. We have stayed in a lot of VRBO properties and this was the nicest of them all. We would highly recommend it.

Well appointed comfortable home in a great location
Our family of four immediately felt comfortable in this home. We thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful layout of the house that provided nice personal space as well as multiple group spaces to enjoy as a family. The house was super clean and decorated so well. We wish we could have stayed longer. The location was also perfect for our daily trips to the Redwood Forest, and the breathtakingly beautiful beach with lighthouse views was only a block away. This home is a true gem.

Honeymoon Get away!
This is probably one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in! Beautiful home, ample of space and we loved the ping pong and Foosball table. We only stayed for 2 nights since we were traveling down HWY 101 but I wish we could have stayed longer.

The house was great plenty of room and well equipped for all our needs. We had dinner at the house both nights because it was so comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach to see a beautiful sunset and a short drive to experience the Redwood Forest. Bonus was the ping pong table and foosball.

What a delight to stay at this lovely property. I, my sister, and our husbands thoroughly enjoyed this home. The L-shaped layout with multiple sitting areas provided plenty of space for privacy and relaxation. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and bathrooms were clean and beautiful. My favorite spot was the chair by the bay window!

Great location for visting the Redwoods
This is probably the best stocked vacation rental I have ever stayed at. They have thought about everything. There are sand toys, beach chairs, firewood and games in the garage. The bathrooms have q-tips, feminine products, beach towels and bathrobes. There are small fans and wifi password pictures in each room. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and spices. It was nice to have all the extras provided. The house is very clean, modern and well lit. My kids loved the foosball and ping pong table. The house is right next to the beach in a quiet area. We spent most of our trip at Jedidiah state park or other hikes in the area. Cresent city is the best location to stay to have day visits to the good Redwood areas. We would walk to the pier, lighthouse and jetty. We drove once because we were tired and there is plenty of parking. I would recommend this place to stay as we were very happy with it.

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Cake by the Ocean. House is clean, neat and has many amenities. Great communication with the host. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Cute beach within 2 minutes walking distance. We would stay again without hesitation.
