We had a wonderful stay. The manor was beautiful, the staff were fantastic (friendly and helpful) and the breakfasts were of a high quality. We would definitely stay here if we visited the area again.

Beyond expectations ! What a beautiful manor house - old world, with all of the modern amenities. Our room was HUGE - it felt like sleeping in a palace. Highly recommend !

Hotel Manoir de Mathan was beautiful. Our room was large and unique. It was lovely and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious every morning too. I definitely would recommend this hotel and I hope to return.

Such a nice hotel, worth a four star at the very least. Room very clean and comfortable, standard buffet breakfast, but no worse for that, great coffee. Staff were excellent always a smile and help with my almost non existent French. Very quite would stay again no question ideal for the D day sites.

Really enjoyed staying in a small town. Staff were very kind and helpful. Room and bathroom were huge and very clean. Great location, with proximity to the D Day beaches, Bayeux, Caen, and numerous WWI and II cemeteries and memorials. Safe, quiet surroundings with free parking! Highly recommend.

An older multi room Manor House tastefully renovated and maintained with all modern facilities and furnished in character with the age of the building. Room was comfortable, spacious and extremely clean. Buffet French breakfast included offered omelette, freshly made fruit salad, breads and pastries, cold meats and cheeses and more. Isabelle, the owner was helpful and friendly and even reserved a table for us at a nearby restaurant for our first evening. Compliments also to all the staff who were always cheerful and friendly at all times.

A Gem!!
We had the best time! Our room was amazing and the staff was superb!! Breakfast was delightful with everything super fresh. Even fresh squeezed orange juice and scrambled eggs to order. Loved our stay and the new friends we made. Only wished we could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed one night in June 2024 on vacation. A beautiful and carefully restored manor with gorgeous rooms. Spacious room with a big comfortable kingsize bed. Separate toilet and a bathroom. Nice view to the garden. Very quiet and peaceful location. The hotel restaurant was not open for dinner but the staff was very friendly to suggest options nearby and help with a reservation. Excellent, luxorious breakfast with a large selection in a buffet as well as some made-to-order items. Very friendly service. Would certainly stay again!

We stayed for three days, and it felt like a home away from home. The room was beautiful and very clean. Every morning, I looked forward to a great breakfast. The owner had a list of restaurants in the very close area and even made a reservation for us. All of her choices were a winner. The location can't be better. If you like to explore D-Day, it is the place to stay.

An old French chateau. Beautiful room. Beautiful property. Very nice. The shower was a bit awkward. The tub is high, and the position of the shower head is weird. Other than that minor issue, the place was great.

It is a beautiful property with flowers, plenty outdoor seating. I enjoy the suite for 4 people and the staff were very friendly and helpful when I asked for blanket since it was a bit chilly. Breakfast at the hotel was fantastic to start my day. However, for lunch and dinner you have to drive to nearby restaurants. I was debating whether to stay inBayeaux or here and i believe i made the right choice to stay in this quiet and beaitiful normandy village

Perfection! A beautiful farm well heated and with a huge tub! The dog had so much fun he did not want to leave. There is a small butcher who sold us high quality Hache and wine. Incredible spot - 10 min drive to the beach and glorious! Isabelle was prompt to respond and a lovely person. Merci!

We really loved this hotel. It’s out in the countryside so it’s very quiet and peaceful. We didn’t have transportation so make sure you rent a car to get around. There’s 1 restaurant nearby but you may not be able to get reservations so you need a car to get back and forth into town. Hotel was fantastic and has a great breakfast. Room was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again and staff was great help with everything we needed. Thank you! I’ll be back!
