Wootten Deer Park, Devon
A rural glamping haven, with a difference! .....Including jacuzzi baths and golf buggies!!
'Fallow' is one of our wood and canvas Safari Lodges, which benefits from an elevated position within a 15-acre field overlooking the deer enclosure.
'Fallow' sleeps 6 (maximum 4 adults) guests. 2 bedrooms both with king size beds and 2 cosy cabin beds, in the heart of the lodge.
Glamping is the best way to experience the rugged outdoors, without having to compromise on modern comforts - such as hot showers and comfortable beds, which enable you to drift off to sleep, to the natural sounds of the wildlife, settling in for the night.... oh and two sunken jacuzzi baths ( soo much nicer than hot tubs - single use water, hotter than a hot tub and no sharing water!!)
'Fallow' enjoys wonderful far-reaching views across the deer park and the neighbouring countryside beyond, so you can observe the deer at your leisure, day and night.
Comfortably furnished throughout and benefits from mains electric, flushing loo, an LPG gas water heater for instant hot water, gas hob, wood burner/oven, TV, DVD player & broadband.
The large decked area juts out into the deer enclosure, enhancing your deer experience.
Ideal for couples, friends and families looking for the ultimate glamping experience.
Our deer have either been hand reared or handled on a regular basis, so should you wish to get even closer to the deer, we do offer the opportunity for you to feed the deer (the perfect photo/selfie opportunity) accompanied by one of our rangers, giving you and your family the chance to really observe the deer up close.
A short distance from the lodge is a sunken communal woodfired firepit and seating area
(shared with 'Fallow' the only other lodge on site) perfect for you to enjoy a glass or mug of something you fancy and perhaps a s’more!
Only 20 minutes from the A30 and Dartmoor, Wootten Deer Park makes for the perfect rural retreat.
So if you’re celebrating a special birthday, an anniversary, looking for just a few nights away, a long weekend or a week’s holiday, either way you’ll create lifelong memories.
