Feast your eyes on this awesome and unobstructed view of the West Elks Mountain range and Grand Mesa from our big front porch! The house features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room with sleeper sofa, fully stocked kitchen, dining area, and a second living area downstairs. Outside you’ll find a patio with fire pit where you can sit around a campfire and enjoy the incredible view of Needle Rock and surrounding mountains. We also offer an RV site with full hookup. The Black Canyon is nearby, where you can take in the awesome views and some amazing hiking. Also Crawford reservoir, which offers the opportunity for fishing, boating, kayaking etc, is just down the road. The small town of Crawford has a coffee shop, cafe, and other unique shops. Also a convenience store and hardware store where you can buy groceries and other necessities.

Annual Girl’s Getaway
My mom and I take a trip every autumn and we chose Black Canyon of the Gunnison this year. It was a pretty lowkey trip and this hike was the perfect home base for the week! Very clean, very inviting, very comfortable and quiet!! Carl was very responsive and helpful! We had a blast and would definitely come back! Thanks for an amazing week in your neck of the woods!

Tremendous choice for Colorado vacation
We had a wonderful time! The location is centrally located and perfect for Black Canyon, Grand Mesa, the Currecanti area, and the West Elk range/Kebler Pass. This property is beautiful and so peaceful! It is exactly as described plus some. Mule deer visit daily and we had snow before we left. The view is amazing and it's nice and quiet. We cooked a bit and there was everything needed from pots and pans to spices. We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again when we are in the area.

The photographs really cannot do the views of the mountains justice. Great place to unplug and get away from the TV (though the Internet signal is pretty strong in case you want to stream something on your phone or laptop).

Breathtaking Views and Tranquility
The cabin was wonderful. Breathtaking views and very quiet. The cabin was clean and had everything that we needed and then some. The cabin is about an hour from the South Rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP. We were there the end of April and the North Rim entrance; which is very close by, was not yet opened. We would definitely stay here again if we are every in this area again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

This is a beautiful house with an awesome view. The house is very clean with a lot of personal touches to make you feel right at home. Plenty of kitchen items to cook a meal and even cook over the fire pit. Comfortable couch and beds. There is plenty to see and do from hiking Needlepoint, the State Park, and Black Canyon to driving and soaking in the mountains and views and even more hikes. Definitely a 5 star home and activities. I highly recommend!!

Peaceful and Beautiful
My family and I love this adorable cabin! The scenery is outstanding! We used the fire pit outside to make s’mores and relax in front of the mountain view. The interior design is amazing and matches the vibe completely! We spent time exploring the area and we visited the breathtaking black canyon on both the south and north sides. After exploring, we played with the games and built puzzles. We enjoyed our stay at this amazing cabin and 100% recommend!

The house has exquisite view. We enjoyed every moment in the house. The house is very clean and well decorated. It has everything we need. I wish I could spend more time there. The Black Canyon is magnificent, especially the North rim, which is only 26 minutes drive from the house. It takes about an hour and 50 minutes drive to get to the south rim. The view is breathtaking. But we like the north rim better. I highly recommend this house!

Exceptional with an incredible view of the snow capped mountains
There are not enough words to describe this incredibly beautiful house in Crawford. We have traveled all over the USA and stayed in many homes, but this one tops them all. It was our home away from home, especially when we arrived to find a Bible on the table and scripture verses on the walls. Everything we needed was provided, the decor was beautiful, not to mention the incredible view. We have never felt more at home as we did here.
