"A-Deck With a View" is a unique cabin/cottage style A-Frame home found on Smith Lake near Trident Marina and the Big Bridge. Impressive views of the lake from a large multi-level deck can't be beat.

The main A-Frame home features 1.5 Baths, with two Main Floor Bedrooms, a Loft Bedroom, a Basement Game Room, Laundry Room, plus plenty of parking. There is also a detached Master Suite complete with bedroom, bathroom, and private deck with views of the lake.

The expansive deck areas include a screened-in main level porch off the family room with amazing views of the lake. Other deck areas include a covered deck, two large, split level entertaining decks, and a natural rock deck with fire pit.

This property also has a covered, single-slip dock and large swim platform that keeps your boat/PWC safe and out of the elements with plenty of space for water activities from floating to boating and fishing.

A-Deck With a View is only 20 minutes from I-65 and just minutes by boat or car from Trident Marina and the Country Mall Convenience Store. With plenty of parking on this property, it’s perfect for a quick getaway or long vacation.

Great trip!
We loved our stay. There was plenty of room for all 12 of us. We had everything we needed and would definitively stay again. It's one of the properties with the least amount of steps which made getting the kayak to the lake easier

Perfect Weekend Lake Retreat!
This home and place is so special. We loved that every one in our family had a space for themselves to sleep and so many spaces to just sit and be quiet, to fish, to read and relax. Night time camp fires overlooking the water and watching the night sky. The kitchen was fully stocked so that we were able to grill and cook our favorites all day. A great place to get away from it all. Beds were nice and cozy too and host was so quick to answer any questions we had while there. Highly recommend for a family/friends getaway.

Lots of room with a great view of the lake. Cabin is well maintained with lots of extras. We really enjoyed our stay and the owner was friendly and helpful. We have recommended to friends and would definitely stay here again!! Special thanks to Sherry for the help with our left behind clothes!!

Our family of five had a great time here. The lake was inviting. We stayed through the week and it was very peaceful and relaxing. We spent the late afternoons in the arcade area. Had a fire and s’mores at the fire pit overlooking the lake. Our family had a great time. It’s a beautiful lake. The Only thing we’d do different, is stay longer!

This was a surprise graduation trip for my daughter! We had the BEST time at the cabin! Our stay was perfect, the cabin was perfect! Communication with the property manager ensure a good experience and even coordinated a smooth transition with the next guests who needed to arrive early. The overall stay was great, the property was nice, very small issues not worth mentioning. The master guest house was a little stale when we first arrived, but was better the second day. I found the decks and porch to be fantastic. The grill is probably on its last leg or needs some work, but we had a great time.

Father’s Day with family
This venue had wonderful lake access, decks, patios and boat slip. We had an awesome time outdoors enjoying the lake. The house had plenty of room and was cozy. The carpet could have been cleaner. The detached master suite definitely has odor problems, otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Private with great lake view
This was my first experience staying in a lake house. The property was quiet with a good view of the lake. The beds were very comfy. The property had all of what we needed for our stay. There is a great country store a few miles down the road that offer items you forgot to bring. We also found a nice local eating place called Kat Daddy's BBQ which had great good. The host was very responsive with returning answers to questions. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I completely loved our stay here. Pictures just dont do it justice. We spent majority of our time lounging on the back screened in porch. Ample kitchen space that has everything you could possibly need! Open dining room & living room was spacious & cozy. Couches are comfortable and spacious. Everything was clean & tidy when we arrived. Checkin was a breeze. We enjoyed our foosball tournament in the downstairs as well, lol! Overall, we were completely satisfied, enjoyed the lake views, and a few days of swimming at dock. Highly recommend!

Great place to get away
The house is a bit rustic but great for a quaint family/ friends getaway. We brought kayaks and paddle boards and had a great time paddling around Smith Lake and also swimming right off the dock. We were there over July 4th, and it wasn’t too crowded. The best time to paddle was, of course, early in the morning before the lake got busy with boats. The screened in back porch was wonderful for our morning coffee, and no bugs got in. Love that it’s pet friendly. I recommend bringing your own can opener. The house has both a standard coffee maker and a Keurig. Dominic was an excellent host.

Loved the View
We really enjoyed our stay at A Deck with a view. Having young married adult kids the room and bed set up worked well for us. The upstairs loft worked well for our single young adult kids. It does take a little while for the upstairs to cool down but by nighttime it was fine. The view from the screened porch was my favorite! There are 74 steps down to the water so a lot less than some of the houses we saw. Trident Marina is an 8 min drive and 5 min boat ride. The boat rental was a huge hit. The house in an older home but has lots of charm. The separate little “cottage” was perfect for my husband and I to get away from the kids since they stay up so late. I knew it didn’t have a dishwasher so I was prepared and brought lots of paper/plastic products. There are plenty of dish towels, bath towels and beach towels. All the kids commented on how comfortable the beds were. The house is not fancy but it has a great cozy feel.
