Nestled between Tarkiln Run and Sandy Creek, this 3 bedroom house offers a serene location with plenty of room inside and out for families. Located right next to State Game Land and Sandy Creek Trail, only 5 miles from the town of Cranberry, and 10 miles from the Allegheny River and Oil Creek State Park, there's plenty to do in the "Pennsylvania Wilds"!
Inside, you’ll find modern amenities like brand new appliances, a full kitchen, Wi-fi, and Roku TV. The kitchen has everything you need to cook or bake your favorite meals including pots and pans, cooking utensils, slow cooker/pressure cooker combo, seasonings & spices, and even containers for your leftovers! The coffee station has an auto-drip and single serve coffee maker, an electric tea kettle, and a selection of coffee, tea, honey, sugar packets, and creamer.
The master bedroom features a queen bed, walk-in closet, a small workspace with desk and chair, full bathroom, and travel crib. Two other bedrooms feature bunk beds with a full mattress on the bottom and a twin on top. Each bunk room also has a twin sized trundle bed that can be pulled out and placed in any room.
Outside, you’ll enjoy over an acre of maintained lawn surrounded by forest and featuring a meandering creek; all just a short walk from State Game Land 45. A pavilion, just feet away from the creek, is an excellent place to relax, grill, or have an outdoor meal together with an patio table and 10 outdoor chairs. You'll also be serenaded by songbirds visiting the various feeders around yard, or a chorus of wood frogs in nearby trees. Wake up early enough and you’ll even spy deer grazing right outside your window.
Whether you’re planning a getaway for the whole family, or just looking for a break from the busyness of everyday life, you’ll find everything you need to be cozy and comfortable by the creek!
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house, private driveway, creek, and surrounding yard. All linens and towels, kitchenware, and food and beverage treats are for our guests to enjoy!
Note: As seen in some outdoor pictures, Tarkiln Run meanders right through the property. The creek is so much fun to explore, and is a prime feature of this location. Please supervise children around the creek and be sure to stay back from unstable and steep creek banks.
