"We love staying at Columbine! It's rustic, but has all the conveniences we need and the location is stellar. It's so secluded, but with lots of indoor and outdoor activities both at Columbine and at nearby lakes and other recreation areas."

"We had 8 women celebrating birthdays for 2nights! We enjoyed the cabin very much very cozy and well stocked! We did have some check in issues with a wrong code and having communication service is a bit of a problem. We were able to go to neighbors for wi-fi but they were hesitant to help us . We also did not have the access to the shared property that was described in the description of property! Hopefully they will work that out amongst the property owners! It was a fun stay with friends!"

"We visited in March and loved the price compared to other options closer to steamboat. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. It was like a 90s throwback but in the best way possible. Cabin was SO clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Appreciated that we could bring our furry family members too. Great spot with access to everything."

"This was a great cabin by the river. Very peaceful about 30 minutes from town. Disappointed that the tennis courts didn’t have nets but Other than that, great spot! Would be great for a reunion if you booked a few cabins."

"I've loved the sweet little cabin I stayed in with my dog. Loved having a fully equipped kitchen after motel stays elsewhere. The staff and owners were welcoming and accommodating when I needed to prolong my stay. The place is imbued with the history of a late 1800's mining town while being close to hikes out of the Steamboat Lake Visitor Center. Awesome landscapes and mountains. Highly recommend."

"My partner and I really enjoyed this area. We enjoyed most of what the unit had to offer, however both of us had significant issues with the mattresses. It was so bad neither of us could sleep more than one hour total the entire night!! I felt like I was laying on cardboard. Significantly impacted our trip because we were both so exhausted. "Property is very nice and location was good. Check in and out was easy. Only suggestion, put a lock on the master bedroom door. Caused an issue, where the next morning at breakfast when mom and dad had to go explain some stuff about the birds and bees when our youngest walked in while we were “wrestling” according to the oldest, happened when youngest, late one night needed their night night cup refilled.
