" Wee House was lovely, Within easy reach of all the beautiful villages and beaches around East Neuk of Fife. Hosts, Liz and Paul, were very helpful. Had problem setting up TV in lounge, which was a bit annoying trying to appease a demanding 6 year old. but Paul was very helpful. Only other problem was the stairs, which my wife had difficulty with. She reckoned it could do with a second bannister."

"This is the most amazing place to stay! It's the experience of staying at a Scottish castle with links to Robert the Bruce, but has beautiful, modernized amenities. It was great having room for kids to burn off some energy and room for the adults to relax. It is in easy distance of great sites like The Kelpies, The Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle. It is a refuge nestled in the heart of Scotland. Don't miss out on this experience!!"

"The Tower was a very unique and enjoyable stay for our family of 6. We loved the history of the place and it felt like we stepped back in time. The only improvement I could recommend would be installing a dryer. It is hard for clothes to air dry inside the cool stone tower. "

"The great: The breakfast was outstanding. Excellent help from the attendant, and the food was delicious, abundant and attractive. Beyond that, it's in a great location, is very clean and is reasonably priced. On the downside, there were some problems with the room--the main closet door was broken, and a request to repair didn't get a response. "We loved the staff at Wilde so friendly and outgoing. We were less enamored with our rooms. Some things in both rooms we had didn’t function properly (blinds, lights, etc). Room was either freezing ir we had the heat off or felt like a furnace or we had it on. We also found that the “apartment” part of the room was not well utilized by us. We could have gotten by with just a kettle to get more room around the bed area. All in all, we wouldn’t stay again. Though we do thank the staff for their...

"Lovely hotel that is ideally situated in a lovely square with cafes and restaurants within easy reach of the main town. Good facilities and it is worth having a castle view room. Good choice at breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and hot choices. Staff are friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for my 60th Birthday stay especially Alistair on Reception. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if visiting Edinburgh. "
