"Location is perfectly situated in peaceful surroundings yet short drive into town, absolutely beautifully decorated inside and outside, family owned by wonderful people who made us feel more like family than renting guests, breakfast served to your table with homemade honey, marmalades, and meats/regional cheese, and fresh bread! "We really enjoyed our stay. With 5 people the beds were enough and fairly comfortable. There was enough living space and a nice kitchen though we only stayed for the night. The place was clean. It was nice we could make a fire but had to use the air conditioning to keep the place warm. Only annoyance was the hot water we had to adjust as it was too cold for winter and took a while to warm up for the morning shower. Would go back just because of the breakfast choices!"

"This was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. Not only the rooms were very comfortable and clean, but the owners made us truly feel at home. We had a lovely dinner in town the night we arrived, and met them at reception for some of their homemade fruit liquor and a lovely chat in front of the fireplace with the whole family. "Luna Chalet are rustic chalets, and I must admit that the unit given to us was very comfortable with great views. Nice bedding, good towels, all dishes and soap needed. The only negative is that they supply the nespresso type machines but with no pods. It would have been nice to have coffee in the morning. A lot of channels on the television also. I strongly recommend the chalet. "
