"My son and I stayed at the cottage as we waited for our new home to become available, and it served as our first step in our new life in the area. It provided much-needed comfort and cosiness in a transitional period of our lives, as we explored the area and my son began his time in a new school. The owner was very responsive to questions. It definitely has a lived-in vibe: the owner lives there when not away, and it gives the property a very particular character!"

"An amazing Christmas break with family from the moment we walked in.Check in process with David was fantastic showing us the facilities,We were greeted with welcome goodies for an afternoon tea The house is big and immaculate, the bathrooms are stunning and the photos do not do it justice . "Beautiful riverside property that was very cozy and comfy - even in winter. The house is well equipped, the bedrooms are comfortable and the living room extremely cozy with the wonderful fire going. We had a few issues on checking in but Piers was super communicative in helping us get things sorted. The drive and the road into Helford is tight - just a heads up - but perfectly doable if you take your time. It adds to the charm of the village. Would be a beautiful place to stay in spring or late...

It’s a very cute place to stay and whilst it’s not show house standard you know what you’re getting if you read the description!It’s a good base for exploring Cornwalls delights and you can walk to Falmouth if you’re so inclined. We loved our stay and have already recommended it to friends so if you want a no frills stay at a great price the Love Shack is what you’re looking for. "
