"Jason was a great host, very helpful and friendly. The games barn is the best we’ve ever found, really good quality pool table, ping pong, fitness machines etc kept us all entertained. The house was exactly as described and the garden large, with good play equipment. Nice little village with great blue avarie and a bar. "

"This was our second holiday this year at the mill and we will keep returning. Everything you need for a holiday has been thought of, beautiful mill and extensive gardens. Can highly recommend using the patio at the side of the property for meals, very relaxing with views across the river/land. You have access to use herbs/tomatoes etc from the garden which is such a lovely idea. Easy drive to food shops and literary a short walk to Château de Dampierre-sur-Boutonne which is definitely worth a visit. There is also a small shop that sells local crafts/art/honey which is such a fabulous idea to support the local people. The owner Yohann as always was very welcoming, excellent communication prior and during the stay if you require his assistance. He ensures your time at the mill is as enjoyable as possible. You won’t regret booking this gem of a property. "

"Our stay at Mossy's beautiful house in the French countryside was perfect. After a long drive, we were warmly welcomed by Mossy who had thoughtfully prepared a welcome basket which was exactly what we needed. He was kind and attentive, yet respected our privacy, allowing us to fully enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. We were two families with 4 children between the age of 7 and 15. We all enjoyed the house that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We spent our days enjoying the swimming pool, playing football, table tennis, having BBQ's in the spacious garden. The game room was a highlight, where we held fun family tournaments in darts, pool and baby football, creating memories we will cherish. The nearby village of Nanteuil was a short walk away, we loved exploring its charming streets and picking up fresh bread in the morning. Mossy and his team were available if we needed anything. Their hospitality made our stay enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday and would highly recommend this wonderful property."

"The house and location were ideal as we had small children and at times group get togethers with family in the area. On the plus side, both the interior and the outdoor areas are spacious, with lots of different places to be. The house was very clean, the bedding was good, and in addition to a downstairs WC, the two upstairs bathrooms were great, one with a tub and the other had a fantastic shower. Given that we were often 8 or more for meals, we were pleased to have quite a lot of dishware, seating, etc. which is not always the case with rentals. The caretakers were extremely nice and responsive and immediately replaced both a coffee machine and toaster that fizzled out during our stay. On the downside, the bakery and grocer in Migron appear to be permanently closed, so the only open shop is a butcher. Migron is really, really tiny so any shopping or errands requires a car. We did, however, enjoy the pizza van on Wednesdays which comes to the local church. A couple of details about the pool: it's all one depth, probably 4 - 5 ft deep, and surrounded by safety gates. And while the house was definitely clean, I would call it "charming" rather than "gorgeous" compared to other properties I've seen in the area as aspects of it are a bit run down. That worked out for us since we had 2 small kids and so didn't have to worry about them wrecking things! All in all, we had a great stay."
