"Really nice stay really convenient location for the station and Bordeaux city centre just a tram journey. Room was spacious and clean, shower was ok but wasn’t that powerful, only one iron so if you wanted it you had to hope no one else was using it. Pointing this out to the owner he took great offence rather than accepting a little feedback. He accused us of not arriving on time, when no time had been agreed, yet we were there at 4:30pm when arrivals were from 3pm. "This property is completely incompetent. Don't let their info on their website fool you they are open 2:30-9 to let you in. I came at a responsible time for check in at 5:30, waited 30 minutes and no one to let you in. Of course they are not accountable for not being there to let you in. They want to charge you for the fact you couldn't get in to stay there. It is very hard to find, took 3 different GPS methods to find it, then when you found it gates closed with chickens squaking at you."

"Lovely old house, and immediately calming. Such peaceful surroundings-matched by the helpful and welcoming owners and staff. The food was so very good, a gastronomic delight-without any exaggeration! Very reasonably priced, and the wine, some of which was produced in their own vineyard, was just as good. Made use of the stimming pool too, although the weather was exceptionally hot during our visit. A very relaxing few days, mind and body rejuvenated we moved on to a hectic continuing family...

It was a very warm few days (over 90 degrees F/30 degrees C) and there was no water provided, and there were no glasses in the bathroom. The internet does not work well and I had to teach an online class which could not happen. Do not expect to connect to the internet. "

We discovered on arrival most facilities were closed because of change of ownership. So if you plan to stay soon, be warned…currently not what it says on the tin! A 5 mile drive for something to eat in the evening was the last thing we expected. "
