"The greenery environment is absolutely fantastic. It is surrounded by lots of apple trees, you can literally pick apple from all these different type of apple trees. You could see massage tree house and yoga deck which gives you a good retreat vibes. The deco inside the house is so warm and healing. The breakfast service is amazing that offered in-house produced apple juice and apple jam. The only thing is parking lot is quite small and it will be great to have complimentary tea in the room....

"This is the second time over the past 2 months that I stayed at this beautiful and peaceful Bed & Breakfast type of accommodation and this second time was even better than the first time since I was able to experience the entire property fully in my two-night stay. This time, I was able to enjoy the very serene, quiet and relaxing pool. Walking around the extremely pleasant gardens, yard, and relaxing hobby farm was magnificent. "We stayed 3 nights in August 2024 as a family of four. The place is beautiful. The room was great with a huge bathroom (and wonderful shower). The twin room upstairs had plenty of room for my two teenaged children. The food was the best bit. Breakfast was a selection of pastries, fruits and local dishes. "Stepping back into time staying in an 18th. Century Chateau with renovated beautifully decorated large rooms! Charles was our very charming host. He booked a dinner in town for us and had a great breakfast in front of a wood burning fireplace in the morning. Total luxury and experience. Also quite reasonable."

"With grandparents, parents and children, including one with severe autism, this was an ideal place for our holiday. The property was stunning, the setting beautiful and the pool inviting. Plenty of space for everyone and a lovely secure garden area. The layout of the bedrooms (doubles/singles) wasn’t quite as listed, but we were able to adapt easily enough. "This is in a retirement complex within walking distance (1km) of the centre of Lisieux. The room we had was good, with a kitchen with Hob and microwave and a dining area. At the weekend the access to the building is by key code and the reception is not manned all the time. Very quiet. The set up seems quite surreal, but actually works well."

Horrible stressful experience

"We knew that reception closed at 21.00 and we would not arrive before 23.00 so we followed the instructions to contact the hotel. Firstly the hotel never replied through the messaging service so I telephoned and despite language difficulties was given a code for the machine outside the hotel to issue a door key. On arrival the machine was not working the tel number was not answered. Horrible, we were tired and cold with no way to get into a room. Another tel number was displayed on the machine and eventually we were let in and given a key. Overall a horrible experience so stressful believing that we might have to look for a hotel so late when we were so tired. Never again"
