"This place is an utter dream, the view from our room, the amazing smell from even the hand soap/body wash/shampoo and conditioner. Having make up removal pads, the spacious shower, the views. I was able to order food to my room and was beyond delicious!!!! For my first time with my puppies was so easy to check in. The sun came in to our room and we were able to sunbathe. Was able to update the heater and then cooling. Just heaven :) even had ice cream and cider, water we got when we came in :) how convenient! I’ve stayed in other places and just felt so homey and everyone was so nice "

"We showed up to Manresa after a long trip from the San Juan islands, and were greeted with an amazingly friendly front desk lady. She was enthusiastic about the ghost stories and was more than willing to answer any questions about the history of the building we may have had. I loved that we were welcome to just wander the building as we wished...there were old pictures all over the place to explore. The restaraunt was mexican food, but so good! Great, fresh ingredients, and decently priced for what we got. The room we had (216) was easy to find, and had two seperate bedrooms with one bathroom in the room. I saw other reviews stating the rooms didnt have bathrooms, but maybe that was their setup...we had an ample-sized bathroom with sink and shower in ours. The beds were actually really comfortable, and the sheets were soft and cozy. We had a decently sized closet that had extra blankets and two fans. There was a ceiling fan in one bedroom, a tv, a fridge, and a seating area with a small table overlooking the water. If I had to say one bad thing, its that the building is old (duh), so the floors/stairs/walls/pipes are noisy. The walls are thin, and if something is going on in the bar, you can hear it. These were all things I expected in a building that is over 100 years old. Adds to the charm, in my opinion. Trip included 2 adults and 2 kids (8 and 11)."

"Area was quiet. We were given a pet friendly room, as requested. Very clean, no unwanted smells. Front desk staff very friendly. Several good restaurants within a short drive. Breakfast area small, but more than adequate. Adequate bfast choices. We usually stay in a chain, but decided to try this place. Half the cost and we'll go back again. We make a trip from Victoria, BC via ferry to Port Angeles to Arizona each winter. This is an over night stop close to the ferry, on the return from AZ. Only 25 minutes away. Not much to fo on the actual hotel site, but that is ok for us."
