"Trim Castle Cottage was a great place to stay when we visited the Trim area. We not only visited Trim, but also Newgrange and my wife’s ancestors’ home area in Westmeath. This made the location of the cottage perfect. The cottage itself had a spot to park the car, which was a must have. It was immaculately clean and very functional for the two couples on the trip. We would definitely rent again when we visit Trim in the future. "

"The cottage was very comfortable. It had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The location was central to all the places we visited. We enjoyed our daily drives through the countryside and having a relaxing place to stay when we returned each evening. On our final day, we enjoyed touring the local area and found that there was plenty to do in or near Mountshannon. It was nice taking a break from driving. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. "We chose this cottage in the country to experience the local towns, people, the food, & history. We rented a car & used the cottage as base. Each day we drove to a different castle or locale.Even the Cliffs of Moher was a day trip. Roscrea village was close for groceries. Denise & Joe were very friendly, helpful, kind, & wonderful hosts.
