"An old style house in need of a refurbishment or at least a very good clean. Agent late so had to wait outside being bitten by mosquitos. House smelt old. We could not open the windows without the stink bugs coming in. Complete list of contents, but no instructions for how to turn on the oven. "Listing exactly as described, you get a lovely sized property which easily slept us and our three teens. The pool was lovely and cleaned everyweek, and the garden was massive. So much space. I worked part of the time and the internet was fast. The kitchen was very well equipped, although we found the fridge a lottle small and steuggled for all of us. "We rented the house as a base during a meditation retreat in nearby Temple sur Lot. It is a wonderful home, very comfy, lots of places to relax and read a book. Kitchen was well-stocked. The host was communicative, easy-going and accommodating. Because we traveled in the winter, we didn’t get to take advantage of the pool but I imagine that’s a fantastic seasonal perk.
