"The property I had to upgrade to a cabin (tent) that had a heater. Heated great! You can see black spots in the tent's ceiling. I think due to humidity. No roaches or mice spoted nor bedbugs. The windows did not open from the inside only outside. (Did not work for us since it was raining and snowing) ..."

There's a great little museum at the corner of the two highways, explains the history of Coulterville

We didn't spend much time in town, but the cafe staff are friendly and the food was good. Big downside that there's nowhere to get dinner, but just plan ahead for it.
