Charming A-frame retreat in a beautiful, natural, and private setting

Charming and cozy getaway on 14 private acres in the Pennsylvania Wilds with all the comforts of home. 3 large bedrooms and 2.5 modern baths, a large family room with the most comfortable couch in the world, a dining area with views of a private pond and forested mountains, and a wraparound deck. Idyllic setting with woodlands and a private pond stocked with largemouth bass, excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, and stunning night skies, plus modern amenities. Fully stocked modern kitchen, large capacity washer and dryer, internet with WiFi, satellite TV, ecologically sensitive heat and a/c. The house has a Ring doorbell in case you have any trouble getting in and have no cell reception—just ring the doorbell and we can help! The A-frame is close to Cherry Springs, Sinnemahoning, Ole Bull, Prouty Place, and Lyman Run State Parks and Susquehannock State Forest. It is also near ATV and snowmobile trails, and convenient to the UPMC Cole Hospital and the amenities of Coudersport.

Great Getaway
Truly a wonderful property for a weekend getaway. Well maintained with a responsive host. Nice to be able to wander around the lake and nearby forest during the day and relax on the patio or at the fire pit under the stars at night.

Wonderful vacation home
The home and location are beautiful! Very well kept and clean house. Beautiful views! This is a wonderful property to vacation at, it is exactly as listed. The owners are very helpful and quick to respond, friendly people :). We would love to stay there again. I have no complaints whatsoever. You'll love it!

Beautiful house and property
The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our family of 4. The location was great being only 10 minutes from Coudersport while still feeling like we were in a nice rural area. We were comfortable and had a great time hanging out at the house not doing much and fishing at the pond. We might need to come back again!

Never disappoints! Incredible Stay!
I am losing count of the number of times we have stayed at this beautiful house! The ability to enjoy the beauty of this area in a house with any amenity you may need is incredible! The stars did not disappoint- and our views from the deck were superior to traveling to the park. The owners have thought of everything you may need! You will not be disappointed!! We will be back - already booked for 2025!

Great Property
Beautiful home in a valley overlooking a pond. Great star gazing, bird and animal sightings, and close to wonderful parks. The home was very comfortable and decorated nicely.

Awesome place
My wife and I stayed at this place for a week and it was amazing. My sister and niece came for the weekend and we all loved the property. We did some fishing on the pond and we caught a bunch of fish. We brought our to dogs that loved to explore the property. Would absolutely stay at this property again.

Second time renting and staying at this property. Wonderful hosts, amazing spot, although is rained and was cloudy during much of our stay and we didnt get to see the beautiful sky at night, we loved fishing and kayaking on the Lake/pond. This property is awonderful place!

A Beautiful Getaway
The A-Frame was in the perfect setting overlooking a lake/pond and the hills of the PA Wild. The terrace made it very comfortable and convenient to view the stars at night. There were many things to enjoy on the property and all the many sightseeing were within an hour away. Good location overall and very comfortable and clean. Our stay was nothing but positive and memorable.

Nice getaway!
Very clean and beautiful home with nice touches (little notes around). The top floor loft would be great for kids, and the basement area is very cozy (and you still get a view of outside). Property has a fire pit and hammocks as well which were very nice.

My family and I had a wonderful time! The house had everything that we needed and the large, wrap-around deck was perfect for stargazing! Our kids enjoyed playing outside and loved fishing in the pond. We had such a nice time that we are planning on returning next summer :)

FANTASTIC Trip
The house was the perfect home base for a trip to the Coudersport area. It was welcoming, well-equipped, a great location, and comfortable. The stars were incredible. My kids loved feeding the fish in the small lake. The owners were friendly and helpful in all communications. From this house, we were within an hour from many fun and memorable locations. We would recommend this stay to family and friends.

Snowy Getaway
We were hoping for stars, but Mother Nature provided snow instead. We had a relaxing two night stay over Thanksgiving weekend. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. Perfect place for family time and enjoying the beautiful house and property. We will be back!

The A Frame at Cherry Springs
This is a beautiful property with great amenities. Whether feeding the fish at the private pond or viewing the bald eagles & deer, this is a great base for checking out the area, and we can’t say enough good about the property owners who addressed all our questions promptly. We look forward to visiting again…our dog, ZoeJane loved all the different sniffs!

This place was beautiful, incredibly welcoming, comfortable, spacious, and brilliantly decorated. The hosts responded to the few questions I had quickly. The highlight of the trip, the night sky, was absolutely gorgeous. The cabin itself is an experience too! The notes left behind in journals by other visitors to the cabin were beautiful to read. Truth be told it was an absolute perfect retreat for my friends to get away from the city and into nature. Without a doubt I'll be coming here in the future, when the weather is a bit warmer! :)
