"This was our third visit. We have gotten pretty good at dealing with the heating issues. Cold (41 degrees when we arrived) in the lower level and hot on the top 2 floors. This time we had a new challenge. We had to limit our water usage due to the septic system being frozen. I appreciated the extra effort the owner made to have the holding tank pumped rather than cancel our reservation, but it was stressful not knowing if each toilet flush might be the one that maxed out our 1000-gallon...

"The cabin was nice, we hoped to fish the lake but after arriving we learned that the lake is drained down 4 feet starting in September (not sure if this is yearly) so we were unable to launch our boat. We did find another lake close by to fish and found some big ones! The cabin had everything we needed to cook meals and kids loved playing with the toys they had."

Would be nice to have a patio table on the main deck for eating outside. Easy to dock my boat and the Smallmouth Bass fishing is fantastic.We had a great family get together and at this time of year it was so quiet around the lake."
