"We LOVED this property, clean, spacious, comfortable bed, beautiful location, so pretty. Beautiful area of France. Hosts were lovely. Beautiful room. Breakfast was included and perfect, much more than we were expecting. Everything we hoped for and more. We would stay here again when driving through France and highly recommend."

"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

"Lovely building and surroundings, service was just about adequate but food and dead flowers on the table etc tells the story. Also had to pay cash as couldn’t take card! Way over priced"

"Rooms were not as pictured. Round bed in particular is an Accident waiting to happen with wood claws holding up bed. Towels rough , too much overly decorative stuff for a guest situation. Not clear would be in guest house - non hotel setting. Host very nice, breakfast good. Too far from town"

"Great host. He made us feel very welcomed. We arrived late and left early and his attitude was the best at all times. The room has a rustic layout with low ceilings, cozy and comfortable. It was cold and there heater was just enough but if not inside your covers, you could feel the low temperature. "

We had a fantastic welcome, dined nearby in a world class restaurant serving only local food right in the middle of a vineyard and had breakfast on a terrace in front of a historic chateaux - life rarely gets better!! And the service provided by your host is just …… perfect. "
