"Our stay at the Tipsy Turtle was wonderful. The property is right in the downtown area which makes it very easy to walk to dinners, or stroll around town.The property owner was incredible, and helped us with parking and check in.All in all a great stay! "

"It rained 3 of the 4 days we were here, but the house was cozy and we were able to get out enough to enjoy ourselves. Everything was here to be able to cook in. The hot tub was nice in the midst of the cool rain. We would definitely come again."

"Tv is new enough to allow streaming from several modern apps. Jacuzzi was at 104f when we arrived! Beds are comfortable. Would prefer a king in lower bedroom. Nice decorative touches throughout. Location is perfect. "

"We come to Monte Rio every year and will definitely try to return to this lovely home! It has great location to our favorite coffee shops and hike spots. We enjoyed the fire place and fenced in yard for our bubs. "

"This place is clean and cozy. Great for a couple. Appliances and hot tub are a little dated, but they were clean and operational. Bed was very comfy. Brewery and Cafe are right across the street and there is a side road that you can comfortably walk the mile to town. Had a minor plumbing issue while there but owner was extremely responsive and helped us resolve it later that day. We would definitely recommend."

"We had a wonderful Christmas week here. Very convenient location Comfortable for 6 adults. Cooked most of our meals here and had plenty of supplies. It rained while we were here so we did not get to enjoy the decks and outdoor area but it would be so fun when the weather cooperated. Redwoods are amazing!"

"I chose this property because I liked the rustic look of the place and it fit our needs. It met my expectations. The beds were decently comfortable (foam not spring mattresses), the furnishings are what's to be expected of a property that has been a dedicated rental forever. I liked the local art up on the walls. Every room has a skylight, and that helped us wake up bright and early. The driveway is a little steep, our tires were spinning getting in and out. "Quaint, quiet and peaceful stay"

"The Attic was very impressive. You are surrounded by trees and it almost feels like a comfy, cozy treehouse. Russ was a great host and solved a little check-in issue without any drama and we had an amazing time. The place is completely outfitted with everything you would need and has lots of beautiful and thoughtful touches. The location was perfect for us to get out and about in nature and we enjoyed hikes. redwoods and the Russian River. You ae also in the heart of one of the best wine areas...

"Our stay in this wonderful Monte Rio home cannot be overstated. We had a thoroughly enjoyable Thanksgiving week here. The home had everything we needed. The hot tub had a few easily solved quirks, but that was it! We stayed warm, ate well, and really enjoyed the area. "I have no concerns with the property it's a very pleasant place to stay with an awesome view of the ocean. This February we had very unusual warm weather it would be nice to have a fan to where we could get some air circulation 72 was not what I thought I was going to get but it did not take away from the quality place so either bring one if the weather is going to be super warm or perhaps one could be purchased and left in the downstairs closet.withawawesome awesome view of the ocean"
