"The property was exceptionally clean, new, furnished well and the host was friendly and efficient with our checkin process. It’s clear he cares very much about his business and pays great attention to detail and keeping things clean and nice for his guests. Very clean linens too. "Petite maison fonctionnelle avec superbe vue sur la mer. Literie de très bonne qualité. Nous avons même pu apprécier le barbecue malgré le climat de fin de saison un peu maussade cette année. Nous avons passé une semaine en nous promenant dans les beaux villages de Balagne et sur la route du Cap Corse.... Que de beaux souvenirs ! Pour la maison, un petit plus pour certains ustensiles de cuisine qui manquent (ciseau, casseroles un peu grandes pour deux, hotte, ...) et en pleine saison, je pense...

"We had the most brilliant time in this gorgeous house. The views over the valley and hills are beautiful. We loved watching the red kites and also seeing the planes take off and land from above (there are so few of them it is never disturbing). The house is spacious and we loved the style inside and out. The pool is great. a really good size for a family group to have great fun and shady spaces to read and relax. The location was perfect for us, 10 mins drive to Calvi in one direction and...

"Our group of 10 stayed in the owner's other house in Corbara, which is quite nearby. The area is breathtaking, it was one of our favorite spots on the island. The Corbara house was wonderful, newly built and very comfortable. The bedrooms were a good size with new beds. The kitchen was a bit small for cooking for 10 and it had a low range hood that everyone bumped their heads into at least once. We had issues with the BBQ in the back and only used it once. The caretaker and owner took good care...

"We had a great stay at this villa in Marine St. Ambrogio with two small kids and a baby. Even though there is AC only upstairs, the sea breeze was lovely and cooling in the downstairs. The security fence around the pool gave us peace of mind with our 3 year old running around, and we and older kid enjoyed the short walk down to the waterside to play in the tidepools and snorkel. The pool is shared with the neighbors who are very nice. Alexandra the on-site hostess was very kind and helpful....

"Catherine has done a great job of putting together a very comfortable place to stay while in the north of Corsica. This is a beautiful and newly built and furnished duplex with its own pool and great privacy. Just a 10-minute drive up the hill from Calvi and close to many nice beaches (and vineyards) nearby. "Clean apartment with kitchen and a barbecue. Two bathrooms and three bedrooms. We traveled two families together (9 people, five children 8-12 years old) and the place was perfect for us. It was a quiet area. A shadowy terrace were we could dine, the beautiful view of the sea, 10 minutes walk from Calvi...I recommend the place and would stay there again if I go back to Calvi. The owners speak only French, and are really nice and friendly."

"Big appartment for a budget rate, close enough to the ferry port and nearby supermarkets to allow for walking to and from, but let down by provision of dirty teatowel, hard floors and thin ceilings resulting in no sleep possible until after midnight due to noise (talking and movement) from above. Lack of utilities' instructions meant that coffee maker unusable. Reasonable overall but could be better. Although WiFi signal strong, couldn't get it to connect."

"The Residence Catalina is a fantastic property, ideally located in a quiet residential part of Saint Florent. It has ample parking, but is within walking distance of the town centre with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. The accommodation offered is 1, 2 or 3 bedroom apartments with outdoor seating (balconies or terraces). The apartments are modern, clean and very functional. We exchanged our two bedroom apartment / 2 bathrooms with balcony for a 2-bedroom / one bathroom and ground floor terrace as we preferred to have access to a BBQ grill. This was granted and worked exceptionally well. Can't fault the Residence Catalina - EXCELLENT."

Nice, quiet location!

"The concierge Mohhmed was fantastic!! He made the stay great. The apartment was as shown in the photos. It was very clean. A great location after a long day! The internet was terrible. I'm not sure if it was the location or the router and equipment, but if your world revolves around the internet this will not be for you. The other issue was that the beds were extremely hard. Not very firm, but very hard. If these two things are not an issue for you then this is the perfect place near Ile Rousse!"
