The pool and lounge area is very relaxing and has olive trees to provide natural shade. The rooms are spotless and the bed is really comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant is also a lovely experience. You do need a car because Masseria Le Lamie is not within walking distance to the nearest town."

"The property contact, Costanza, was great. The host/owner didn't ahve the wifi "loaded" when we arrived, and we actaully arrived a day later than scheduled, and we didn't end up having wifi until the following day, which for some is not an issue but it really was for me. The cell service is also very light there and so I had to get on the roof deck to connect- not the best experience. The place is really fun and unique and it IS remote. "We had an amazing week at Masseria Salamina. The castle grounds were incredible and service was top notch. Food and wine at dinner was excellent. Plenty of room for our family with a great pool area to relax. We will definitely be visiting again. "
