"Magic view and great host!!"

"We rented this property for 6 nights. Although the views were magnificent, it was apparent when we arrived that the property is not being properly maintained. The pool was filthy and green and we had to wait a full day to use it so someone could come clean it. The lawn was overgrown, causing many bugs to be around the house and pool. We took matters into our own hands and sprayed and removed wasp nests and trimmed the bushes so our kids would not scratch themselves walking up the stone steps....

"The property looks almost brand new and it is better the the pictures show. The house is so clean! I'm a very clean and organised person and can always find fault with the cleaning in holiday homes in the UK, however, I could not find fault with this holiday home, it was spotlessly clean, a credit to the owner! "The villa is beautiful and the views fromthe property are outstanding. The villa was very clean. We just had a few small scorpions but that is to be expected in that area. Be aware there is no A/C in the two guest bedrooms but if you leave the doors open they will stay cool. The town of Colico about 5 mins away is really cute with wonderful restaurants by the water. The property has a washing machine which was great but no iron so we had to take some clothes to the dry cleaners. Good...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Gioiosa over the New Year. The house is spacious and modern with every comfort you can think of - the owners have thought of everything. Excellent open plan living and separate area for bedrooms. The villa is perfect for families with plenty of activities on site and in the surrounding area. "AMAZING! Beautiful quaint resort off Lake Como. Generously caters to all guests: couples, families, with pets, etc. Gorgeous infinity pool with relaxing deck area next to a lovely grassy open area shaded by rows on f trees. Breakfast is fantastic with excellent cappuccinos and a delicious bar, with quickly made hot options. We met with friends and family for lunch & dinner off property, but looked very good. There is a Laundromat just around the corner if needed, which we took advantage of. Our kids especially liked the beautiful pool and relaxing patio attached to our room. We appreciated the separate bunk beds for our kids to sleep as well. Wonderful resort, hope we are able to return again soon!"

"The staff made us feel really pampered. We arrived just after midnight, and the concierge came out to our car to greet us, carry our luggage, and show us to our room. The maids were incredibly attentive with fresh towels and cleaning the room. The dining room staff were always polite, courteous, and professional. The hotel was superb!"
