"A lovely hillside development of purpose built rooms in the mountains. We received a warm reception. The room lovely and inventive in its design. We really loved it. A small terrace outside was where our breakfast was served, and this was superb. The secluded location served to teem with songbirds, I've rarely heard so many welcome the start of the day. A perfect location, a short drive from Corte where we had dinner in the evening. "

"Fantastic stay in this charming spot. The owner, Laure, was the perfect host and catered to our every need including some good recommendations for what to see and where to eat in the area. We only stayed 3 nights, but definitely should have stayed longer!"

"This is a little jewel of a hotel hidden in the hills of Corsica. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and the sense of peace is heavenly. The rooms are beautifully decorated, bathrooms well equipped and there are lots of seating areas around the property as well as the pool where you can relax. It is remote for sure but it’s worth the journey."

"Excellent séjour, accueil plus que chaleureux, l'hôte vous accompagne dans vos projets de vacances, visites, réservations. L'endroit est chaleureux et très très bien situé pour visiter la région. Espace détente avec piscine sécurisée et terrasse vue mer imprenable. Je recommande vivement et nous y retourneront."

"A Bella Scusa is nicely furnished and Christophe was taking care of us. As we stayed in Bastelica out of season he organized a little home made dinner for us. Breakfast was fresh and local. Excellent teas are available for guests. The living room is comfortable and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. We like outdoors and did a great hike nearby in Val D‘Ese to the Pozzi (see pictures). In town there is even a little supermarket. Would definitely come here again. "

"I’d like to write about this apartment, but can’t because, despite booking and paying for it 5 weeks in advance, the apartment was given to someone else. We didn’t meet the owner either who, when we phoned him, we were told he’d made an ‘error’, and that was the end of the conversation. Perhaps a mistake, but probably not, and the inconvenience of having to find other accommodation at 8.00 in the evening was unbelievable (Corte has real accommodation shortages). I don’t recommend anyone...

The rooms were beautifully decorated with stunning views, and the atmosphere over dinner with the other guests was a highlight of our trip. "Superbe séjour passé dans cette maison d'hôte pendant 2 nuits. Les chambres sont très propres et grande. Nous avons dîné avec notre hôte un soir. Une cuisine simple mais néanmoins délicieuse qui nous a permis de découvrir la charcuterie corse. Un repas familial. Je garde un très bon souvenir de ce séjour et de notre hôte"

"We stayed in one of the hotel apartments. Nice apartments with all the basics you need (small kitchen with basic appliances, small living room a bathroom and a nice balcony with BBQ. The owners are very kind and the surrounding villages and nature are beautiful. Only minuses were: 1. a bit too close to the main road which causes some noise disturbance when you sit at the balcony and 2. the wifi reach is limited till the garden of hotel and thus not in the apartment. For the rest only big pluses."

"My husband and I spent five nights of our honeymoon at this amazing property and it greatly exceeded our expectations. The home is so charming and the location can’t be beat. It’s close to several small villages and only 30 minutes from Calvi. We really enjoyed our evenings in the hot tub and the views from the deck, as well as falling asleep to the sounds of the stream. The owners were amazing, checking in and out was very easy and they even brought us fresh eggs one morning. The home/property...
