Welcome to Hootie and the Redfish! This fourth-floor condo offers elevator access, stunning unobstructed views of Aransas Bay, and a 1,000 ft. lighted fishing pier featuring underwater lights. Situated at Laguna Reef, the fully furnished pet friendly one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo includes a private balcony with a dining table and four chairs, perfect for enjoying the breathtaking views of Aransas Bay.

Whether you prefer sipping your morning coffee while watching the sunrise or having an evening cocktail while observing the fish under the pier lights, the view will surely be a highlight of your stay. Additionally, the condo provides access to an onsite pool, hot tub, and fishing pier exclusively for owners and guests. The cozy bedroom features a king-size bed and a flat-screen TV for your comfort. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare meals in your home away from home. The living room cabinet transforms into a queen-size bed with a comfortable foam mattress. Guests can also use an electric grill on the balcony and charcoal grills onsite.

Located at Laguna Reef, this spot is ideal for exploring Rockport, just a mile from downtown shopping on S. Austin Street. After exploring the local shops, restaurants, or the nearby winery, you can venture to Rockport Beach, Little Bay, Rockport Harbor, and the festival grounds, all within two miles of the condo.

This area of Rockport was perfect for us - quiet, off the beaten path with a gorgeous view. The condo was spotless, well maintained & comfortable. Within a short drive of some amazing seafood restaurants.

Great place for a getaway. Pretty quiet. Would have liked the hot tub to stay open longer closes at 8:00 p.m. Pier was nice for fishing. Needs the railing completed. Kids and elderly could lose their balance in the wind and fall off it. Overall good place.

Perfect place for a couple!
This condo was the best we've ever booked. It was super clean and had everything we needed but was not cluttered. The location was perfect, the view from the balcony magnificent, and the pool very nice. The property was quiet during our stay and the staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. Could not have asked for anything more. We will definitely be back!

Relaxation and fun in Rockport
Our stay at Hootie and The Redfish was very enjoyable. The condo was clean, nicely stocked with snacks and coffee, and a real pleasure to stay at. A big plus was the wonderful patio view into the bay and having a coffee in the morning watching the sunrise. The pool and hot tub were clean and not too busy. Shopping is a short five minute drive away with multiple shops and friendly people. A very peaceful and relaxing trip and we would definitely recommend.

Great Location Great Stay
This property is in a complex but still felt private. Everyone in the building, guests and staff, were amazing, kind, and friendly. My friend and I were able to walk e erywhere. Woke up to coffee on the balcony and spent a good deal of time on the pier. All amenities were great and the owner/management were very friendly and super responsive! Very likely to tell my friends and return for another weekend getaway.

Only 4 stars because the rules they have are not enforced. Nobody was wearing wristband, smoking on the patio below me and the gate to the fishing pier was broken so a lot of trespassing was happening. If they fix the gate and enforce their rules it would be a 5 star place. Staff was super friendly.

Family Getaway
Great time and exactly as pictured. Only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was a little low. Make sure to bring quarters if you wash your clothes. No change machine in laundry rooms. Washer is $2.00 and dryer $1.75. The balcony door also squeaks really loud when you open it. Other than that, we had a perfect time. Went on a walk and even found a basketball court and little park that made my kids happy. Great location close to everything.

Cozy with a view
Perfect cozy condo, with a private pier. We just walked downstairs and out onto the pier and fished to our heart’s desire. We caught several redfish right from the pier (buy the small mullet bait from Mom’s bait shop in town and cut it into threes) and my husband caught two large redfish: 21 inches! The size of the condo was perfect for us two, but a small family would do well here too. The TV and easychair + couch made for cozy movie nights. The king size bed was wonderful. I loved coffee on the balcony watching the birds fly past. One morning a flamingo flew past…not native to Texas, but pretty cool! The condo was nice and quiet and restful. I enjoyed the site’s hot tub, which was big, clean and nice and toasty. The pool was clean, but since it’s December, too cold for swimming right now. I walked into town from the condo, and the walk was easy and very pleasant. All in all, a relaxing and very quiet stay.

A/C Not Working in Bedroom
I would have given this property a 5 star review except the bedroom was warm. Note in property saying not to turn air conditioner thermostat below 70 or it will freeze up indicating property managers know it is an issue. The real issue is that several ducts/vents have little air flow, most notably in the west facing bedroom. This causes the bedroom to sleep hot and while I am not a a/c technician, the lack of proper air flow to all vents is key contributor to the icing issue. Fix the a/c for a five star review!
