A great family hangout.
This is a really nice place for all ages. Fishing, kayaks, swimming and much more with a great costal relaxation vibe. Highly recommended!

Weekend at Sunrise Retreat
We loved our stay at Sunrise. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking /serving. The outside view is breathtaking and the heated pool felt great!. We had a great relaxing weekend. ❤️ Thank you Kristen for responding to my text in a timely manner during our stay. Stay at Sunshine Resort
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunshine resort. The house is very well taken care of, enjoyed the warm water(heated) pool, green lights on the fishing dock. There is plenty of seating thru ought the house both inside and out. Unfortunately we did not have any luck on the fishing side. There was a cold front that blew in the day we arrived and threw everything off: water level, wind. This is nothing that can be controlled. We will be back for a future stay.

Amazing Week at Sunshine Retreat
We had an amazing trip at the Sunshine Retreat! Close to town, restaurants and beach. The view with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from the pool and top deck are incredible. We loved having the pool to take a swim anytime of the day. The pool was cloudy, so we contacted the host and she had pool service there to service it that day and it was cleared up by the next morning. Host was prompt to respond to questions. The kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked all of our meals. We had 6 adults and 2 small children, and we had plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay again at the Sunshine Retreat!

Lovely house!
This house was like new: big gorgeous kitchen with large island, two king bedrooms that were good sized, with another bedroom with bunk beds. There is an ensuite master bath and a shared bath. The shared bath was huge and gorgeous, with two sinks. Kristen and the property manager were lovely, answering our questions quickly and coming by to fix a TV. There are four TVs! Great decor. I highly recommend paying the extra fee for heating the pool, especially if the weather is not hot. It was wonderful! Thus was the most well-stocked property we have ever seen, it has everything you might need.

My New Favorite Stay in Rockport
As a frequent visitor to the Rockport area, we’ve stayed at many vacation rentals and this location has become one of my favorites if not my favorite. Cleanliness is always a priority for me and it was spotless. Beds were comfortable, everything was well stocked, and we paid extra to have the pool heated which was worth every penny. Bathrooms kept full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, so you can leave those at home. We had a slight maintenance issue during our stay and Kristen was quick to answer and send Ben out to fix the problem. Ben even gave us some pointers on fishing from the dock. My husband caught a black drum well over 30lbs if I had to guess, used shrimp from one of the local bait stands. The only call out I have is if you have children and prefer them to use plastic cups, plates, etc…you might want to bring your own. The kitchen is well stocked but it was all breakable items, fortunately I brought child friendly cups and dinnerware because I have kids that like to drop and throw things. I can’t wait to book here again!

Girl Cousins Rockport Trip
We had a fantastic time in Rockport. Sunshine Retreat was the perfect place to spend quality time with my girl cousins. The kitchen was well stocked, the rooms were comfortable, we enjoyed the pool and the relaxing view of the water.

We loved staying a the Sunshine Retreat. The house was clean and fully stocked with household items. It felt like we were at home. We loved the privacy and access to water. Kids loved being able to fish and swim. There were snacks for us and a special present we were happy to take home with us. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home. Fantastic long weekend at this beautiful house in Rockport. It was very centrally located and convenient. The house came stocked with all the basics and the hosts went above and beyond by ensuring there were thing such as coffee filters, spices, and extra trashbags! We've stayed in many rentals and have never had that personal touch. It really stood out and made our stay that much more relaxing. While there, we had a hiccup with the pool. The host responded to my text immediately and had the issue resolved by the time we returned from lunch. It further demonstrated their attention to detail and hospitality. 5/5, 10/10, would absolutely stay here again and will highly recommend to anyone I know visiting the area!

Amazing house and hosts!
Our family loves Sunshine Retreat for the memories we make here each summer. The house is always immaculately clean and we always have everything we need during our stay there. We literally just pack our clothes and go! A quick stop at the local H-E-B and we are all set for fun. The pool is awesome, the dock is great to fish under the lights at night, and the internet and tv keep everyone happy when it’s time to relax inside. Overall, a great place to enjoy time with family!

Relaxing Getaway
Exactly as described. Love the basket of snacks upon arrival. Very nice touch. Master bed very comfy and pillows are perfect. Temperature in pool was awesome. Got to swim each day. Neighbors very friendly. Grilled some yummy fajitas and watched Astros win their 4th game. Perfect relaxing time. Ate dinner at Paradise Key, ask for Hannah as your waitress. Living room very comfortable. Master shower is awesome. Kitchen is well stocked. We will rent again.

Perfect View
Lovely beach house on the lake that gets the evening sunset to the left of the deck. Very well appointed and modern. Everything was in perfect working order. Easy to get around in Rockport. Would highly recommend staying here. We will stay again!

Fantastically Relaxing
Beautiful home with great amenities. Just pack your clothes and toiletries and prepare to relax. Groceries, restaurants, and beach, everthing you need for stat is within a 10 minute drive. Highly recommended place to just relax.
