Introducing My Happy Place MR211. Our updated 3BR/3BA house is just down from the community pool in Mustang Royale, an oceanfront neighborhood, steps away from the beach –ideal for family vacations, romantic getaways and reunions. The ground floor has an open layout, combining the living room, dining room and kitchen. The living room has 2 over sized leather couches with matching ottomans and an entertainment center with a large TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and overlooks the dining and living areas, so you don’t miss a beat while preparing meals for your guests. The primary bedroom, located on the ground floor, has a king-size bed, an entertainment center with a TV, and an attached bathroom with his/her sinks and a shower/tub combo. Adjacent to the primary is the 1st guest bedroom, which sleeps 2 in a queen bed. Upstairs, you’ll find the 2nd guest bedroom furnished with twin/full/twin bunk bed. Then there is a loft area with 2 twin beds, a TV, and a full bath. Soak up the beautiful scenery while lounging on our covered wraparound porch, or grill up your catch of the day under the gazebo in the backyard. This home also has a gameroom! This rental is conveniently located within the best part of Mustang Royale, which offers a beach, a pool, golfing, fishing, restaurants and bars. STR#200097502

- This is a PET-FRIENDLY RENTAL. Pet fees are an additional $20.00+tax, per pet, per night. A maximum of 3 pets are allowed. Additionally, a pet-cleaning fee is also charged, which is $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days, and $100 for stays of 30 or more days.

We had a great time at "Our Happy Place" in Port A this past weekend. We decided on a last minute trip to the beach and the beach house didn't disappoint! The kitchen was well appointed, beds for everyone (and then some - a nice change!), a nice patio and a great Rec room in the garage that the kids enjoyed a lot. It is a relatively easy walk to the beach (up some hills, so beware or rent a golf cart) and very minimal traffic to be concerned with. The community was tidy and nice looking. We felt safe our entire trip - aside from the mosquitos, but the city is definitely working on that daily during the season. Just bring bug spray and they'll leave you alone. Would definitely consider visiting again and even bringing along some extended family! Pro tip - while a golf cart isn't totally necessary, it would have made the trip more enjoyable. We had a beach cart which was a must for our family with 4 younger kids and all the stuff. We decided when we return (hopefully this time next year!) we'll definitely rent a golf cart for a smoother time for the littles.

Great place!
We had a great time staying at “Our Happy Place.” We were within walking distance to the beach and only a few minute drive from everything we needed. The front door doesn’t shut properly, though. That was a tad annoying. We think the lock gets stuck. You have to really mess with it to get it to stay shut. Also, we had a child get stung by a jellyfish and found the first aid kit almost completely empty. :( Everything else was great!

Online photos and description are accurate. Kitchen very well stocked for cooking while visiting. House was warm but AC was working. Beds were uncomfortable for multiple night stay. But overall a great place to stay!

everything was great. Only comments would be1) recommend installing safety bars in Master shower to give old folks something to hang onto while drying off, 2) Den TV was geat with Dish, but Master bedroom TV had no operable source (several people tried). I would suggest also installing Dish on that TV.Also, please add a night light to the Master Bedroom

Nice house and area
The location was walking distance to the beach and the house was well maintained. The neighborhood was active but not too loud. Younger adults enjoyed the game room and bbq pit area. Was hoping to check in earlier but the place had been rented the day before we got there. There was a lot of rain in the area during our stay and there was some water buildup in the back yard.

Great location, awesome neighborhood!
This was a great beach house, unfortunately for us it rained the entire time and the BBQ area was completely under water by several inches. The house was in an excellent location, close to the shops but far enough away for a quiet evening. The boardwalk to the beach is a 5 minute walk with an awesome huge boardwalk. The house in comfortable, the kitchen is a bit small but very manageable. I would rent again.

Perfect beach weekend getaway
We had a great time! This house was great for my husband and child. It was clean, and the location is great - about a 2 min walk to the pool, 5 min walk to the beach, and 8 minute drive to everything in town. Everything was exactly as expected, and the neighborhood is very quiet too. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming beach house. Plenty of room and easy access to the beach by foot or by cart. We did a little of everything at home, on the beach, and in town. Perfect getaway for our family!

The house was nice, said it was pet friendly but it would have been nice if they mentioned the back yard wasn’t fended in. Couldn’t just let the dog out to play, had to stay on leash and if I used the long leash she got tangled up by all the post. The fridge was leaking and they responded immediately to look at the issue. But overall the property was nice, good location and not a bad walk to the beach. I would stay there again.

Overall the property was fine. The location was good and there were some great aspects of the rental. The outdoor grill area and ping pong table were great. The house was plenty big for the four of us; however, it's hard to gauge the size of the property from the photos. The kitchen/dining/living areas are actually quite small, especially the kitchen. There are three bedrooms and an adjoining loft so it was fine for a party of four. We saw what looked like tiny roaches upon arrival and reported them on the app we were encouraged to download but nobody responded or acknowledged the request to spray. The property management company told us at checkout that we should have contacted them directly and they would have handled it. I believe they would have. One other nit (and it was not with the property per se) is that there were a lot of people in the neighborhood that let their dogs crap all over the place - and they did not clean it up. Very annoying since we brought our dogs and were responsible about cleaning up after our dogs. Oh, and the garbage man comes VERY early so don't plan on sleeping in on trash days. Overall, we had a good stay. The location is close enough to the beach and the golf cart accessible boardwalk is a winner. Getting into town was simple enough via car. We thought it was fine but would probably rent somewhere else next time.
