Immerse yourself in island vibes with stunning Gulf of Mexico views from every window and your private balcony. This pet-friendly getaway offers a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, free private Wi-Fi, towels, linens, and reserved parking. Unwind on your balcony while enjoying breathtaking views of the dunes, ocean, a private pond, the sparkling pool, swaying palms, and spectacular sunsets.

From March 31st -April 11th, 2025 - Beach Club's pool, hot tub and pool deck will be getting a makeover. Weather permitting, estimated time of project will take two weeks to complete. Pricing reflects this, and no extra discounts apply. We apologize for the inconvenience.

CLEANING
-CLEAN BED PROMISE: Padre Escapes launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME!
-After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.

-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-A signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check in. Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. The ID must match the guest’s name on the reservation.
-PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY: MAXIMUM OF TWO PETS.
-$100 per pet fee (7 days or less), $200 (8-29 days), $300 (30+ days).
-$50 pet cleaning fee (7 days or less), $75 (8-29 days), $100 (30+ days).

Island Vibes - lovely condo
We just spent a wonderful week at Island Vibes - the condo was clean, well-laid out and very comfortable with a lovely view over the private pond (great fun watching the fish jumping in and out of the water) and the Gulf in the distance from the 3rd floor balcony. Booking and check-in were a breeze! Just remember that there is no elevator, so you will get your steps in going up and down the stairs. I would thoroughly recommend staying at this cute apartment.

Hanging out on the balcony in the morning and evening and listening to the surf was great!! Even though it's a 3 story building with many units, we never heard anyone else the whole time we were there. We loved the pool and fully equipped gym. The proximity to some excellent places to eat was a bonus and the beach was within walking distance. We will definitely come back and rent this condo again!!!

Condo was nice and clean. However, it does have a musky 'old' smell inside but overall good. The stairs are a bit of a hassle. Otherwise, a good place to stay. The condo did not have any coffee or coffee filters which I thought was unusual, even hotel rooms provide those.

Perfect location for our escape!
This property was exactly as advertised! All was new, clean and neat on the inside. The location was perfect for our needs and although we were there during Spring Break, it was peaceful and quiet. We’ll stay here again. Two things I want to mention however, you need to take the stairs to the 3rd floor, could be a hassle for some folks and the stairs and the hallways have carpets, these were very old, very dirty and smelled very muggy. Maybe the Beach Resort could rather do tiles.......

There isn’t an elevator, but even considering that...I would go back again and would 110% recommend it!

But speaking of the 3rd floor, make sure you understand there is no elevator. The unit is in need of some maintenance but it’s hard to keep up a property right on the coast like this. The biggest issue is that there is a strong mold odor. I thought it might go away but it lingered through out our 4 day stay.

Fantastic Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a very nice condo. We stayed for a week to move our daughter back for summer college. It was the perfect size for 3 adults and a pet. The location was great, close to the beach and restaurants were not that far away. The bed was comfortable however the fitted sheet kept managing to come off at each corner at the top of the bed during our sleep. I had to fix it every morning but this did not damper our stay or inconvenience us at all. I believe the elastic in the sheets were worn out or the sheet was too big. The kitchen was perfect and had everything I needed to prepare a meal. I was a little surprised there was no dishwashing soap just cubes for the dishwasher. I am old fashioned and hand wash my dishes. Since we were moving our daughter back to TAMU we used her dish soap so no biggie. We really enjoyed our stay and loved sitting on the balcony both day and night listening to the waves crash on the beach, guest fishing in the pond and birds flying by.

Like a Two Star Hotel
I feel like I was in a two star hotel. The location was great, the community and view were nice and the floorplan worked. However, the unit was disappointing. First, it reaked of mold. The laminate floor was so loud and popped like bubble wrap with every step. Very little was provided in the way of supplies. You have a kitchen but bring everything for it, bring extra pillows and every toiletry. I like VRBO for a place that feels homey but, again, this felt like a two star hotel but with a kitchen. I'd stay at the complex again but not this unit.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Traveled with the family which included 2 kids under 2 years old, its never easy. Not only is it added luggage/equipment its added work. In our case we were not told or we did not realize the appt was on the 3 floor of a building with no elevator. This fell short of an expectation we would have liked to have known. The property images do show it closer to the beach than all actuality. Other than this the stay was okay. The AC worked great which was nice and Padre Escapes was pretty responsive. While I would rent from PE again I would not rent this condo, not at this price anyhow.
