Perfect for a family get a way to Corpus. Bunk beds were a little uncomfortable for my 17 year old grandson, so he ended up on the couch, but everything else was great!
This beach home is very clean, well-appointed, convenient to the beach, and close to downtown, the art museum, the aquarium, and the American Bank Center. Loved having covered parking, too! Would definitely stay here again!
This was a great beach house! We were 2 families with 3 kids under 6. There was plenty of space, lots of outdoor and beach toys, quick walk to the beach, very comfortable primary bed, and good amenities. We had a great memorial weekend!
Wonderful location! Easy access to a very clean beach. Loved the view and the house was clean. Would love to come back to this house if we ever come back to Corpus christi.
The house was very nice and clean, not to mention it’s most comfortable! Our host was great and easy to contact. Great views and great location. We loved it!
We had a really nice stay. The house was well kept, beds were comfortable and we enjoyed time on the front and back decks and the patio with the fenced private area. The beach was easy to access and the kids enjoyed playing in the sand & water.
Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful home. It was our first time ever to the coast and we had a very comfortable stay! I would highly recommend!! Thank you again!
My family and I enjoyed ourselves. The property was as described in the listing. Super close location to North Beach, as well as a short drive to surrounding restaurants, and things to do! Quiet neighborhood, cozy home with plenty of parking. We would def. Book again. Thanks for a great stay!
Proximity to the beach and attractions like museums and the aquarium was awesome. The house was very clean and updated inside. It included all the amenities we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed it and it was more than enough space for our family of 4. My only criticism is that the ceiling fan in the master did not work (the chain had been yanked out) and the one in the other bedroom was so noisy when it ran, we had to turn it off. Check in/check out was easy and communication with the property manager was great!
Easy to get to places, nice walk to the beach, the garage wouldnt open, didnt have the bunkbeds as listed. Had to make a pallet on the floor for my son. But he is 6 and thinks sleeping with girls are yucky.
What we liked -
- cleanliness
- proximity to the beach
- number of bedrooms and bathrooms
What wasn't ideal -
- placement of the house is such that the building in the front blocks sunrise (in June we stayed not sure of winter months) but you can't really do anything abt it
- no check in instructions until 3 hours prior to the check in time, had to contact vrbo customer service to get that verified since we didn't want to get stranded esp. with my pregnant wife. But that got sorted out and there were no problems after that

Great location
We really enjoyed our stay, the location is great. We enjoyed the size of the house and amenities and definitely the deck. However the front door is able to be opened from the outside without using code due to the door jam. Lawn over grown so we didn't use backyard or grill. Unable to use garage due to broken cables. Due to the salty air I understand things wear, rust etc. Pics are not updated.....maintenance is needed. Would have been nice to use garage area. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this location. Just need some repairs. Again the location is great.

Near USS LEXINGTON & TEXAS AQUARIUM
I had a wonderful experience with checkin with the host. She was accommodating with sending us the code a bit early which I appreciate. When we arrived at the house and pulled in the garage we figured out that the doors would not shut.
When we walked in the home it looked like a nice home. I always check the beds and I noticed there wasn’t mattress encasement covers. I loved the bath tub and decided to fill it up and relax but then realized that was not going to happen as black stuff came out of the tub. The master bedroom tv remotes would not allow the tv to work. The next morning I went to make coffee and the coffee pot was filthy. One of the bedroom doors would not shut. The rear doors didn’t want to open. Our last night there we was going to walk to the beach after dark and there is a park at one end of the block - there was homeless people sleeping on the benches. The other end of the block is another beach access and there was people hanging out in the parking lot therefore we stayed inside the house. The house overall needs a deep cleaning and much needed maintenance but has potential to be a nice rental.
We had a pretty good stay! It wasn’t our favorite beach location but that’s not really the hosts fault. 😂
The house is nice and spacious and decently stocked for a few days away. If we had stayed longer, we probably would have needed some additional supplies but it was well stocked for us. There was some confusion about the third bedroom that was shown to have a double cot setup but upon further investigation this was not one of the provided amenities in the description, just a bonus. The cots were damaged by the people before us so we arrived to an empty room and rearranged our sleeping rooms. Pictures should probably be updated to reflect this change but for the price a bed in that room would be amazing.
Some of the outdoor furniture is a bit worse for wear. There’s also a nail sticking out on the lower railing of the upper bannister that needs to be fixed. The upper deck is not gated so be aware of this if you have small children. We also had a couple issues getting the doors shut all the way. We could eventually get it to lock when we left but it took a minute of maneuvering.
Loved the provided speaker and the TV was huge and setup! Plenty of kitchen equipment to use and both dishwasher tabs and laundry tabs left for the renter. They have a Keurig setup and had it well stocked as well.
All in all- it’s one of our better beach house rentals.
My husband and I arrived for what had been a long anticipated 10 day vacation. We were only able to obtain the door code a few hours before arrival at the property from the property manager, which seemed strange. We were dropped off by Uber late at night in a neighborhood that was remote from any business and with lights off and what appeared to be deserted properties nearby. The code we had been provided did not work, despite multiple attempts and despite multiple calls to contact the property manager. We were surrounded by swarms of mosquitoes as we attempted entry for over an hour, still with no response from the property manager. It took another hour to find a taxi that would rescue us from the clouds of mosquitos to take us to a motel. The property manager has expressed her regrets for the fact that she provided us an entry code that did not work. VRBO has refused to offer any support although I had asked for the VRBO service fee to be refunded. We were finally granted the correct entry code the following day, but at that point, our vacation had been off to such a miserable mosquito bitten start that our zest for staying in Corpus Christi was diminished and we decided to cut short our vacation and to just return home, where the mosquitoes were at least not an issue. We don't plan on using VRBO again anytime soon. Noone appears to accept responsibility for this dismal rental experience.
We had a great time during our stay in Corpus Christi. We didn’t have any issues with the house, it was clean and perfectly located. We would book the same house again.
We enjoyed the location of the home and the beachy feel plus the easy walk to the beach nearby. However a tropical storm caused us to have to evacuate early but the owner was super to forewarn us and help guide us to answer all our questions!
