Located on North Beach in Corpus Christi, at the Villa Del Sol condominiums, on the beach, fully furnished.

North Beach is 1.4 mile long stretch of beach across the Harbor Bridge from downtown Corpus Christi.

The condominiums are adjacent to the Lexington and Texas State Aquarium and Whataburger Field, Home of the Corpus Christi Hooks (Astros farm team)

This condo is on the top floor with nice view of the bay and ship channel. It is fully furnished. Kitchen is outfitted with fridge, oven, various kitchen appliances. Living room and bedroom televisions, and it can sleep 6. Bedroom queen bed; Futon/Sofa fold-out sleeper; two bunk beds.

Thank you owner and staff. We had a great stay

The Villa del Sol Condominiums are comfortable and easily accessible to the beach, as well not far from many restaurants, sites and grocery stores. That is what we wanted

I asked the owner if we could check in earlier than 4 and was told it was okay. We checked in about 2 and the place was a dirty mess. The owner didn't bother to let the maid know about our early check-in. All the owner told us was sorry it was a miscommunication. That was it. The place is run down and the beach is not really a beach more of a bay. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Property was okay.

After recovering from the shock of the condition of the unit we had a good time in Corpus Christi. The unit needs TLC. There was a broken lamp shade, hole and damaged walls, dirty carpet and no beach supplies. We bought paper plates and plastic forks. The appliances were clean but dishware needed to be washed. The pictures online were made to look spacious, the unit was very small. That being said, we enjoyed the location. The view of the beach was beautiful.

Reason why not 5 stars

They couldnt check me in with the reference number i had received from them. They needed a room number. So i had to stand there in front of other guests holding up the line while i searched through my emails trying to find the room that was giving to me 3 months ago. It was annoying. So other than an annoying way to check in everything was perfect.

Owner was very disrespectful in email communications. Upon booking, my total said $XXX.00 includes ALL taxes and fees. When I checked in at the front desk, I was asked to pay a $XX.00 check in fee. I contacted the owner. His reply was “I guess you didn’t read the listing.” I went back and read it Top to bottom again. No mention of a check in fee. It turns out that, AFTER I had completed the transaction, he sent me an information sheet that mentions an HOA fee per stay. I’m my opinion, you can’t tell me about additional fees AFTER we’ve agreed to a price and completed the agreement. The property itself is in badly rundown condition. The elevator doesn’t work so you’re going up 3 stories with all your luggage and, in my case, a very heavy cooler. Construction and renovation is happening everywhere on property and the parking lot is pothole central. The unit itself was not too bad. Very small but clean and well outfitted with dishes, utensils etc.

Nice location for local beach or hitting Padre Island National Seashore

Property was exactly as listed. We enjoyed our stay. There is a front office you'll check in at to get your gate keycard and keys for the door. Make sure to get both! We got there around midnight on a Friday and office was open, so you shouldn't have issues getting checked in if you're driving in from quiet a ways like we were. Condo was nice. You have a view of North shore Beach from the balcony. Definitely will try to stay here again when back in Corpus.

Nice & Clean but not quite wonderful.

The absolute downfall of this property is the stair climb to the 3rd floor with ice chest, luggage, groceries, and beach accessories. There are no working elevators, and I suspect they've been broken for a long time with no repair in the near future. It would have been nice to be told that in advance. I certainly got my steps in while on vacation. Additionally, I was charged a Pet fee. First of all, I did not have a pet, and secondly, there are no pets allowed as I was told at check-in when I asked about the pet fee. The room itself was nice but a little cramped as it's not a very big space. It was clean and well maintained, but I will not return unless the elevators are working. I did call the owner on the day I checked in to ask questions, he did not answer, I left a message to please call me, and he never responded.

Was charged a Check-In fee when we checked in and this extra fee was not disclosed on the property listing. This property is on the 3rd floor and the elevator was not working. The first key given to us did not work so had to go get a 2nd key. The wifi network that was told would be available was not available.

Corpus during Corona

We had a good time regardless of a few setbacks. Owner was very very sweet and fixed some things that needed fixed. It was difficult wearing masks all around but otherwise, we had a great time. Beautiful views and beautiful beach!

There was a required extra $15 check-in fee which was not described on Expedia. We were there on Tuesday evening around 6pm. The wifi seems not working. We called the front desk and was told no one was available for the issue.

We had a great time. The property was right on the beach, it was clean, AC worked great, enjoyed a full size refrigerator, LOVED the balcony and the price was awesome! We will definitely stay here again!
