"Ed.and Lynn are gracious hosts, who operate this cool little property that's somewhat off the beaten track, and off the grid. And that is both the good and not so good. If you take this property for what it is it is great. Ed and Lynn operate these cabanas with a loving hand. The cabanas are smallish, but up- to-date, clean and neat, and comfortable. The feel is very much like a well above average maintained motel suite. Their on site convenience store carries all the basics you might need...

"Moody blue cottage was the perfect fit for us. If we come back to caye caulker, this is where we want to stay. Every thing about this property was great. Be sure to arrange snorkeling trip with Francis and wish we had known that we could arrange fishing with him before booking through a local company. He is very knowledgeable about the island and marine life."

"As mentioned by others, the property is fairly far from the center of the action, but at times this could be a good thing. A golf cart or bikes are suggested. Due to the proximity of the 4 units, privacy was not at a premium. The property was clean, had lots of storage space and towels and the manager was extremely responsive to any requests. Would stay here again."

"We loved our stay at the Bayblue Cottage. Francis was super helpful and friendly with us getting checked in and giving us recommendations for our visit on the island. We loved the cottage, the view, the hammocks, the beach, and the bikes that were provided which helped us get around. We would definitely stay again! "

"This was our 2nd stay at the property. Everything was great. We had a few issues this time around. We were supposed to be in Turtle Cottage but due to a mix up, we ended up in Reef Cottage. Michael reached out and let us know before we arrived and since all 4 cottages are essentially the same, we were fine with the switch. Only 2 issues were the sink was rusty and in need of a scrubbing and the shower head was broken which Michael replaced immediately. Overall we love the cottage and location...

"We went for spring break and daughters 16th birthday trip. April 2024. We had never been to Belize but wanted a house and not in town. Well this is definitely not in town. 12 miles north along the coast, and secluded.(3 houses close by). House a little rustic but has AC and WiFi. Pool was nice to have though found couldn't really swim in ocean off deck. Was better to go up coast a bit. "This property is exactly as described! We arrived at the dock to board the Express ferry and messaged the owners, and there was a taxi ready and waiting for us when we arrived on the island. The property was about a 5 minute bike ride into the town and about 10 minute ride to The Split. Property was very clean and had all the amenities you need.
