Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

SPARKLE CLUB: Guests will be able to arrive at their vacation home at 12:00 pm with access to the first level of the home and the pool area only (be advised the pool and spa may not be cleaned by noon, if the home offers a private pool). Please do not attempt to go to any other level in your vacation home until the housekeeping team has completed their work OR 4:00 pm check in time.

Beach Cabana Service: 6 chairs and 2 umbrellas will be set up Monday- Friday at this homes private beach access. Look for your beach set up, weather permitting, from 10 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday, 7/1/24-8/22/24. Umbrellas and chairs may not be set up on extremely windy or rainy days. *For 2025 this service will run Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Gorgeous view
Morning Star is a comfortable house with a large pool and excellent beach access. The views of the sound and the ocean from the upper level are inspiring and memorable. The kitchen was well equipped with pots/pans and tableware. Oddly we found no potholders so retrieving baked goods from the oven was a bit tricky! Overall the house was clean but the front porch had an accumulation of bird droppings that made the chairs and swing unusable. Found quite a few cobwebs as well…we were the third week of May so maybe it’s still early in the season for a deep clean. Net net we loved the house and will be back.

OBX 2020 Trip
I was ecstatic when I found a house big enough to host extended family for a week at the end of the 2020 summer (this wasn't an easy task). This trip was a much needed break from the COVID/quarantine life. The location on the beach was wonderful - especially with toddlers and having a pool at the house was so helpful. It is on a remote part of the beach allowing social distancing to be achieved easily. The gate surrounding the door from the house to the pool area eased our nerves with toddlers running around the house! We had a few issues during out stay that were promptly corrected by the management team (the pool gate to the beach was fixed within a day so that it properly closed preventing a safety hazard with our children/toddlers and the management team promptly helped us fix an issue with the house alarm). Unfortunately, there were several issues. - The house was DIRTY. Dried food covered the kitchen drawers and cobwebs were throughout the interior of the house. Nothing felt clean (dining chairs, floors, rugs ... was anything even vacuumed prior to our stay?). - The decks/porches were not clean - dried/dead bugs and cobwebs were everywhere. The house certainly needs a power wash. We couldn't see out of the kitchen windows to the beach they were so dirty! - The pool was filthy. It was not cleaned prior to our stay. Sand, bugs/cockroaches, crabs, etc. were present. - the kitchen faucets do not function properly - pool deck was dirty - sand everywhere! Overall, we accomplished what we wanted - a trip away to help ease the burdens of the quarantine. However, the specific house needs a lot of TLC and I wouldn't recommend staying here again unless some major changes are made.
