The green lawn invites you to a front-row seat to the ocean with spectacular views from the living and dining rooms' levels and your private dune-top seating. The house is comfortably designed to give you an open feeling on the family level with your family and friends, yet allows you to find your private, quiet areas all over the house. The artwork throughout captures your eye. Welcome to Sand Goodies; you won't want to leave.

Ground Level: Lounge on the pool deck and relax to music on the outside speakers. Enter the home from the pool area into the rec room with a full-size pool table, TV/CD/Stereo, and refrigerator. There is also a nicely decorated private den with a sofa bed, TV/DVD, and a Duobunk.

Mid Level: Has 2 King main bedrooms with whirlpools. A room with 2 Singles with Trundles and a room with 2 Bunk sets share a bathroom. The hot tub is on a secluded deck between the ground and mid-level.

Top Level: Features an open, airy great room with TV/VCR/DVD and sweeping ocean views. The kitchen has 2 dishwashers and a large pantry. The nicely furnished living area has a gas fireplace and an elevated sunroom with extra seating and great views. There is also a King main bedroom with a whirlpool.

THINGS TO KNOW
For January and February bookings, please contact the property management company to ensure the hot tub is available.
This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically.
Fireplaces are available from November 1st through April 1st.
Private Pool Dates: The private pool is open May 1st through October 15th. The private pool is unavailable outside of these dates.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Functional, non-aesthetic house
Location on this house was great. However, esthetically and amenity wise- it left a lot to be desired. Broken door locks, moldy showers, uneven decking covered with raised nails made navigating the space safely for my young family difficult. However, when you took the short walk out back, spending our days at the beautiful clean beach made it worth staying the duration.

The house was perfectly located on the beach. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and pool table. The beds were comfy and the main TVs had easy access to streaming services. Not many pillows so I would bring extra along with some sheet pans for oven cooking.

Great property on great beach!
Was very impressed with how the house was actually what was advertised. We went in late Feb, early March and due to that, the beech was basically just me and my wife. Great access to beech. Vacasa who manages the house was extremely good at communication. Worth the rental!

Highly recommend. We had a fantastic winter week there. I am a chef and was delighted by the tools in the kitchen. The views are amazing . We, too , saw dolphins from the deck. The place was clean and the management team was responsive.

Great location and layout
It was clean and we love being on the beach. Kitchen layout was nice. The King sized mattresses were very uncomfortable. They need to be replaced. Also (and I am sure this will be fixed) there is a broken step leading to the beach which was dangerous.

December OBX
We came to OBX for my nephews wedding (at Black Stallion). We chose your house for my husband & kids (21, 23) and my sister's family. We have come to OBX nearly every summer since 1999 and this is the first Oceanfront house we have stayed in. I may never go back to a non-oceanfront house! Your house is beautiful, well-stocked. Only negative I believe was that all doors except the front door wouldn't lock (deadbolts broken). Overall a great stay at a great price (winter OBX prices are GREAT compared to summer prices). Thank you!

Great oceanfront home
The oceanfront home was amazing. The kitchen had everything that you could ask for from coffee makers and crockpots and plenty of dishes and pots and pans. The only issue we had was the washer if you used the laundry pods they did not disintegrate and could cause stains on clothes and towels so if wanting to wash clothes I would maybe not use the laundry pods. The walkway to the beach is a little tricky and the steps coming from the pool up to the walkway to beach could maybe be fixed. The pool was huge and great. We had a wonderful time and would stay again.

The house was not set up for us coming on 10/22, 1 hot water heater was out, the windows were not clean and disgusting to look through. No zero none cleaning supplies available at the house. House side deck areas were not clean and pool full of crabs. Vacasa mgt should be able to host Vrbo houses.

Pretty, pretty good!!
The good: The house itself is very big with lots of room to spread out. We especially appreciated all of the little nooks where folks could get away for some time to themselves. The pool was a large size and the beach was very accessible. The kitchen was updated and well stocked. The hot tub was nice and also clean. We also really appreciated that there were sheets and bath towels and check-out procedures were limited. The not as good: This place is "well-loved" and not in pristine condition We kind of assumed that given the price relative to other similar units, but that included a deck that had seen better days, lots of visible rust, lots of stains on the carpet, fridge that was a little bit on the fritz, squeaky bunkbeds, outdated bathrooms, etc. All in all, we would stay here again, but would only recommend for those that are okay with imperfections and looking for a large place at a bit of discount.

Beautiful views and great location; however, we discovered a rat(s) in the house after it ran across someone in bed, and ran through the kitchen while our group was gathered there. The bed linen in some rooms were dusty, and droppings were found throughout the house, to include on a pillow and night stand. When we brought the issue to the property management company they had pest control come as soon as possible to set traps, and refunded 2 of 3 nights stay. Overall cleanliness was lacking.

Great home but several issues and management is terrible
Lovely home had a fun time with kids. However, none of the doors locked. There was trash stuffed under the beds and hair on the beds and a few other issues. I didn’t want to have to leave a bad review because it was nice, however after being promised by multiple people on the management team that I’d get a call back (never did) and a compensation (never did) I got told one story after another and everytime I called it was different. So unfortunately it wasn’t the greatest and was not compensated for anything. I had small children with me and none of the doors locking is a SERIOUS safety concern. They refused to refund me anything because I didn’t immediately call when I couldn’t find the number and my phone had died and I left my charger at home. But I did call as soon as I got home and I guess apparently it wasn’t good enough. Don’t rent from this company. There’s nice houses elsewhere too.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We had a fantastic winter week on the beach. Clean and fully furnished with everything we needed. Hot tub was a bonus and easy access to the beach that we enjoyed daily! Enjoyed watching the dolphins and sunrises from the top balcony!
