We loved staying at this house! It was extremely clean and a great location. I love how it had a bit of privacy and there were not neighbors right in your space! Perfect set up if your bringing your pup also!

Perfect Place for Family Getaway
This was the perfect place for our family of 5 to enjoy a week of relaxation. There are no paved roads, 4wd is required to reach the house. The house has everything you would need during your stay. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!

Great House!
We've rented this house twice now, and we love it! Great location and has everything you need. We bring our dogs, so we love that it's slightly away from the water. They get to run around without us having to worry. We'll definitely rent again!

Very late posting, but what a relaxing and amazing stay we had! The house was fantastic, exactly as shown on the site, had everything we needed for the week! We enjoyed wakimg up and having coffee on the big screened in porch! Definitely recommend! We will definitely be back!!

Family beach eacape
From the adventurous beach drives to the beautiful obx beach and water, daily wild horse sightings and comfortable accommodations our family of 5 and two dogs had a great week. If your looking to escape crowds and relax and love the beach this is for you. The beach drives should not be taken lightly, appropriate vehicles a must!!

A Great Getaway
A great getaway. The bedrooms and living area met our needs perfectly. The horses even ran down the road in front of the house! If you get the outdoor shower and porch fans working - the beach experience could be even better.

OBX 4 WD Beach
Great location but will definitely need a four-wheel drive truck. Place is great and seeing the wildlife and especially the horses was fantastic. This home is terrific for large groups as well a small groups. Definitely will be back.

Awesome beach getaway with our pups!
We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful and private Beachaholics beach house and to have our 3 dogs with us was awesome! As a vrbo owner myself we understand the effort and love that goes into hosting and appreciate Nathan and Robert’s attentiveness snd friendliness ! Beach house w/character
We have been vacationing w/our BF many x over the last 15+ yrs. We have stayed in many beach houses. This house hands down was our favorite! It was beautiful decorated yet comfortable @ the same time & it was spotless! The owner was very flexible, friendly and informative. We had a personal tragedy during our time there & this place really helped us to decompress.

Relaxation!
Thanks for having an amazing house available for us to vacation at. The house had everything that we needed and the owners were very speedy to reply to all of our questions. We saw horses everyday! We planned accordingly prior and had all of our meals prepared as you are not near to anything. Driving on the 4 x 4 was an unforgettable experience!

We had such a great time. There was one small hiccup with power due to a storm. The owners jumped right in to get the issue resolved quickly. House was very clean and well stocked. The screened in front porch was a great place to drink coffee in the morning or cards and cocktails in the evening. There was also a lovely outdoor space to enjoy as well. I greatly appreciate being able to bring our furkids along with us. Don’t hesitate to book your stay!

A very frustrating trip
We were a family of 4 adults and a 2-month old baby. We have read the property description and all but i guess one would not fully understand how far it really is from the beach until you're there and have to drive to and from the beach each day. We only went out to eat once because it was so far off from the establishments. Otherwise all was good with the house.

Excellent Time in Carova!
My wife and I and our two young children (1 and 3) had a wonderful time at Beachaholics! Nathan was very responsive when we had a few questions about the property and the house was very very clean. Plenty of games to play. A few tips for anyone not familiar with the area - it’s about an hour drive from any stores, so bring all the food and drinks you need upfront. Make sure you also have a 4WD vehicle and take the air out of your tires to about 16-20 PSI. Also, the TV is through WIFI and is pretty spotty. We couldn’t stream a movie but had a hot spot so it wasn’t an issue. It was a great vacation and we had a lot of fun. Thanks for having us, we’ll definitely be back!

First 4x4 experience at OBX and it was AMAZING!
We have been vacationing in OBX for over 30 years but this was our first year trying out the 4x4 beach in Carova and it was wonderful! This newly built bungalow is perfection! Beachaholics offers clean, comfortable furniture with tasteful decor and an open floor plan along with a thoughtful outdoor set-up complete with corn hole, oscillating fans, swings and the hook & ring game! We loved being able to load everything in the truck and not have to lug everything to the beach. We used the beach access off of Sturgeon Lane and found that area to be huge, with so much space to enjoy the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked, each bedroom has a massive screen TV and the screened-in front porch provided some awesome nights to enjoy our cocktails and a game or two of Jenga! Nate was a pleasure to deal with and always so quick to respond, we really appreciated his level of customer service. We would definitely stay here again!

Super relaxing week at Beachaholics. House was perfect for our family of 4 and dog. Communication with the owners was super easy. House had everything we needed (kitchen utensils, glasses, pots, etc.). Open floor concept made it easy to hang out together in the great room. Not on the beach but the ability to park on the beach was convenient. Just leave your sand stuff in the truck! Follow directions about airing down your tires and having a 4X4 and you will be fine. Getting into Corolla was easy once you get the hang of driving in the sand. Was a little humid our week so we did not get to enjoy the outside area at the house other than grilling out a few nights. If you want to unplug and enjoy nature for the week, this is your place.

Absolutely Amazing!!
We originally reserved this beautiful home for a stay in April but had to cancel due to the COVID-19 and state restrictions. Nathan was wonderful to work with and kept in touch with me throughout the various stages of the stay at home order. When he received word that the restrictions were to be lifted he reached out to let me know and we booked immediately! I'm so happy that we did!! Our weekend was just what we needed to feel like things were somewhat "normal" again. The house is incredible. It's very clean and beautifully decorated. We cooked all of our meals during our 3 night stay and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and some! A lot of thought and love went into this home and it has absolutely anything you might need and want for a perfect beach getaway. The house is a little bit away from the beach making it a perfect retreat after a full day of beach activities. We even had a few visits from horses in the evenings. I can not say enough good things about this home, it's location and it's owners. We simply can't wait to book our next trip. If you are contemplating a stay, just do it! I promise you won't be disappointed!

A dream vacation come true
This was our first time to the 4x4 beach and for some of us our first time to the Outer Banks. If you love a quiet and peaceful atmosphere Beachaholics is the place for you. The house is super clean and accommodating. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals (except food ofcourse, but Food Lion wasn't too far away, however go early in the morning or later in the evening it gets packed and isn't a huge store so it can feel a little clausterphobic at times, you can also buy alcoholic beverages there) The beds are all very comfortable and clean. The decor is on point. There are many board games for the kids and Cards against Humanity for the adults. There is a Wii and the biggest collection of Wii games. There are also some DVDs and puzzles to work on. The screened in porch is a big plus! My baby is 14 months and just learned to walk, but having the screened in porch I didn't have to worry about her trying to walk off or the steps. The picnic table on the porch is a big plus too, it's a perfect place for dinner or breakfast (probably lunch too, but we ate lunch at the beach) Another thing we loved was the sound system...there are speakers inside, on the screened in porch and on the patio under the house. Nathan was wonderful to work with, he checked in our first day there to make sure we got in ok (We got there after 11pm on check in day) We had a question one morning and he responded within minutes. I can not say enough good about Beachaholics. I wish I could have stayed another week, actually I'm lying I wish I could move in.

What You See is What You Get
And what we go was the beautiful modern and clean beach home advertised in the listing. Homeowners were kind and responsive. The home had great amenities with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of space for a large group. The area itself was way more remote than what we originally thought but the home was great!
