Hyatt Place Poughkeepsie / Hudson Valley
5/5 Excellent
"Super clean, and everything worked well in the room. Fridge didn't freeze my food, HVAC worked quickly and quietly, great shower, and there was no microwave but one was available all day in the breakfast room. The desk staff not only didn't hide, but were so welcoming and engaging that they became part of the group conversation in the lobby/breakfast area. The 24 hour gym was a good two notches better than most hotel gyms, well-equipped, spacious, relatively cool temp setting, and two (!) treadmills. Breakfast was also better than most, with freshly hard boiled eggs and real low fat yogurt, edible baked goods, and decent bowls and silverware, in addition to the usual stuff."
