Für Einkäufe und Restaurantbesuche muss eine Fahrt von mehr als 6 Kilometern auf einer kurvigen, unbeleuchteten Bergstraße zurückgelegt werden. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Allerdings gibt es einige Stufen zur Küche und die Treppe nach oben, wo sich auch das Badezimmer mit Toilette befindet, ist recht beschwerlich. Es gibt keine Zentralheizung, aber einen Holzofen.
